  1. In The Court Of The Crimson King ... A personal favourite of mine... Odd thing is I got introduced to what is essentially a local band by a scouser.
  2. If you read this article using anti-bullsh!t glasses, you can see what AA is saying. Simply put "I am desperately bargaining with the premier league because I know that no one is going to buy PCFC." AA knows it, and EPL know it and they have him over a barrel. The EPL cannot give parachute payments out in advance. but they can promise it to a third party to be paid on the due date, who can then loan money against this future promise to pay "at credit card rates of interest" to PCFC .
  3. Co Ho. Just a simple question, Can you or anyone else of the blue few explain how financially you will avoid going bust. The WUO has been suspended just long enough that you are relegated and no longer the EPL 's problem. You are mortgaging your only lifeline the parachute payments just so you can survive until next season. A good proportion of your players are out of contract, so are worthless at transfer time. The rest are too poor and/or exspensive to sell, so you are stuck with their huge payments next season, or will have to sell them cheap or even give thejm away. The administrator has (reading between the lines) stated that there is no chance of anyone buying you. The land around your stadium is owned by someone else as is the land your offices are built on. You have no assetts and debts of 60 + million which are increasing all the time. A CVA will not happen because the HMRC control more than 25% of those debts. The HMRC still have leave to challenge Chandria's creditor status. Given all the above, please can you answer this serious question. Can you explain how you will not go bust?
  4. Strange, because most 60ft, Narrow boats as I believe yours is, weigh in excess of 25 tons. How energetic do you need to be to get rythmic rocking?
  5. Rather poor thinking by me but, is it in Poopeys interest to acrue more debt. To get CVA 75% must vote in favour of acceptance. HMRC are not likely to agree less than 100% of what they are owed. At present their debt is about 18 million of 60 million owed, therefore about 30%. If Poopey could get more total debt, say to 80million, HMRC percentage drops to less than 25% so they on their own cant block CVA. I know I've got a twisted mind, but its too long listening to you lot.
  6. Come on dont leave us in suspense...... Do tell.
  7. If we want to make a complaint, whom do we need to complain to? Is it the FA? The referees association or both? Has anyone got the e-mail addresses or the snail mail addresses please.
  8. Unfortunately in this so called land of equality I have to agree with you... But with the number of women now living alone you would have thought some of them would have been happier having a woman trampling through thier house than a man.
  9. For collectors items you are after my..... Mk2 Fiesta convertible (1 of only 5 known left) MK1 Escort (1970) 2 door (actually my wifes but she lets me drive it sometimes. MK 5 Cortina 2 litre injection 5 speed. (technically there was no such car as the mk 5 cortina, its official ford title was the Cortina 80). Mk 1 Fiesta
  10. New MOT today...
  11. Hi... Not very good at this technology thing... Me and technology go together like marmite and custard. But here goes with piccy's.
  12. Its confirmed then Hero's dont need MILK TRAY ... All they need is Hob Nobs.. (am i showing age?) :-)
  13. Selling wifes 1990 Ford Escort XR3I Convertible... White with black hood. This car has electric everything (well almost). Electric hood (works smoothly and hood has been replaced in recent years). Electric mirrors. Electric heated Front and Rear screens. Am going to get new MOT next week. Is currently on a SORN. Also have a second one as a spares car which could be purchased seperately. £750 for 1... £950 for the pair.
  14. This friend sounds like a real hero type. He is propably sauve, sophisticated, hansome, and intelligent as well. :-)
  15. Got cast adrift one night in brim by drunken persons. Luckily mates boat has bowthruster so quickly got sorted and tied up again.
  16. The Boat Inn, a local pub for local people. Right on the lock, been there, very dog friendly. They like there animals in there as well. :-)
  17. Hamster, only you... At a time when the canals are overflowing with water, and the sluices are working overtime could you maroon a boat on the bottom of a 'dry' lock. As for Stoke Bruerne I bet I could believe what happened.
  18. In this of financial downturn, people of all occupations are finding it hard, how about an area where people can offer skills and services. I'm sure we can help put customers and skilled people together. I have a daughter, qualified painter and decorator looking for work, must be some one out there who needs some work doing, or a contractor looking for another pair of hands.
  19. Really odd feeling that... Swaying with jelly legs in a pub. How long were you there before your knees went wobbly?
  20. Seriously there are advantages in the Old Skool Ford motoring. Free tax before 1.1.1973 ... Cheap insurance, even if you heavily modify them .... Got a mate Mk 2 Escort, Cosworth turbo lump, officially recorded 189mph. Accelerates faster than Peter Story teller chasing after a brown bag. Good old fashioned fun. Even wifes 1700 crossflow mk1 brings a huge smile to the face every time you drive it.
  21. If you want fun get an old diesil for general going to work stuff, and then get an Old Skool Ford Mk1 or 2 Escort, Rear wheel drive. Drop in a Zetec or similar and have a barrel of laughs. Sideways is the only way.
  22. Personally I know of 2. Newcastle Under Lyme AND Newcastle Upon Tyne. There must be others, so grammatically correct. However as my spelling and grammar are awful I'm likely to br wrong..
