  1. Not speaking his mind... he is speaking Low's mind.. Lowe will only have people who tow his party line as manager, anyone with a mind of his own (Pearson?) seems get get the sack (or helped to resign).
  2. Saturday 14:55 hrs on the Northam stand two banners went up, with anti Lowe comments. Two stewards quickly ascended and tried to seize the banners, which were quickly 'lost' amongst the fans on the Northam. I spoke to a steward and he said they had orders to consficate any banners or protests mentioning 'LOWE'. Under what peice of current legislation can a banner be seized because it contains the word LOWE. I realise that we are in a private premises so certain conditions can be designated by the owners of those premises. Praise to the fans yesterday for their constant support of the team for the full 90 mins. and the way when a subdued anti lowe song started it was quickly swamped with a round of OWTS.
  3. REALLY REALLY REALY SILLY IDEA. What if fans put in money to club on a long term interest free loan basis to be repaid on reaching Premeirship. SAY £200 each.. 5000 people would be £1 million ... That would help get rid of Lowe and Wilde I know stupid idea I'm going......
  4. Wilde plant?
  5. FF thats about the most concise explanation of that whole saga I have heard... Thank you.
  6. Stop talking about football on this forum .. its not right.
  7. NICKH assertion that dissent only in last couple of games is wide of the mark by about 10/12 games. Maybe not as publically vocal but listen to any group of fans since about sept/october the discussion always comes down to JP nice but out of his depth. And as for dissent against Lowe thats been there since coming back and the NP debacle.
  8. The problem is the media being nAturally lazy just go to the names they know. They dont care if the trust has only 4 members or the independent judians front saints supporters is just one man with a loud mouth ... they get their soundbite for the paper, and they're happy. Regardless of whether it is right.
  9. No but JP is 'Dutch Cr@p'
  10. Thanks Window Cleaner. So if i get this right , and knowing nothing about companies:-.. LOWE 6%, is allied by Wilde 16%, Askham and Withers 4% each and a group of perhaps 4 or 5 others who own no more than 3% each (say 12% the group) total 6 +16 + 4+ 4+ 12 = 42% ish. Crouch is the next biggest with 9.5%. If Wilde were to turn again and Ally with Crouch that would be 26% W/C to 26% Lowe/Friends. If the Corbetts and a few others with a few shares join W/C they might just get 30% enough to make things awkward but not enough to control things. Lowe at 42 ish % could control power. But W/C et al would have problems at 30%. Therefore a person or group with control of say 2,800,000 shares (10 %) could hold the control of power at SLH/SFC. I know i am thinking crazily, but could a group of 50 so small shareholder collectively put that many shares together? Just a mad thought whilst stuck at home with flu and daytime TV.
  11. Lowe and his 'friends' hold the control of power in SLH/SFC. One of these I know is Wilde with about 16% of the shares. Who are the other persons allied to Lowe?, and what are roughly are their share holdings?, and could they also be persuaded to side with another person instead of Lowe.? Sorry if I'm the only one who doesn't know the above, but just in case there is someone else out there who is not aware, could some one simply explain the Lowe 'powergroup'.
  12. Thats the trouble at the moment, thats all we have on matchday w3ith Lowe and Portaloo
  13. My wife and I will both be there, she is so upset at what Lowe is doing she has even donated a sheet to me to make a banner (you dont know how much a sacrifice that is to her). Stand and be counted, I know my club is worth a little bit of effort on my part, is it worth a bit of effort from you. 19 cartoon (aka sunburnt breast) excepted.
  14. Someone much wiser than me once said somrthing along the lines of :- "For evil to succeed all it takes is for good men to do nothing" ... At this time in the clubs history it is important that good men stand up and be counted. To all who think that protesting is a waste of time ... is your club not important enough to you for you to fight for it. It doesn't matter the age of someone who protests. Hasn't a 13 yr old, StuRomSai, as much passion for The Saints as a 50 yr old. If there is a 1/10000 chance of the march having an effect in the ousting of Lowe isn't it worth joining a few others and walk a different way together to the ground.
  15. Lowe has already shown this attitude by the Pearson /Portaloo decision. What I am trying to fathom out is Lowe's motivation. Is it purely egotism, or hatred of Crouch et al. Is it a desire to come back to a position he was ousted from and try to prove to those who ousted him he was right. Or is it financial. But how financial if it goes into Admin. It does not make sense. The only assets we have are the ground, but who wants to buy a second hand football stadium. The land on which its built is leased i beleive. The players, who to be honest in a case of a fire sale are virtually worthless (some of Luton players ended up at Salisbury) Luton got virtually nothing for the players they had to get rid of. Jacksons Farm, reading the bit on administration it states that the Adminstrator must get the best deal on 'property' to pay the major debtors, this woul I guess be Barclys overdraft or bigger debt Aviva for the stadium. So Lowe wouldn't get his hands on that (unless of course his building co. did the work) or purchased the land with all proceeds going to the debtor, I just dont get what is in it for Lowe, he is almost universally disliked by the fans, some of the board according to reports dont like him. Apart from pure pigheadedness Whats in it for Lowe? That I believe is the key to this whole thing
  16. Didn't he get taken to police? I am surprised. But still if that was their reaction, good for them, youth gets a bit of a dap and a few scaped knees and elbows for his stupidity. Gets kicked out and gets to spectate another day. Possibly the best result to expect out of a bad situation.
  17. I think that proves why we should all be sure of our facts before making allegations, I did not see the youth's punch, but I believe you totally. Not best way for steward to react, but understandable given that he was punched first.
  18. Saturday I was sat/stood as normal in the Northam, the fight occurred a few rows behind me so I am unaware of how it started, However at the end of the match when all the yoof went down the front and were giving it loads of verbal I saw the following:- Roughly in frontof where the steps come down between 42 and 43 the youths were being quite vocal, The stewards were lined up in typical defensive formation with the a row of stewards with a row of their supervisors behind them directing them. I youth I saw was being particularly vocal and I saw him gesturing/pointing at a steward, All of a sudden this steward punched the youth in the head. The youth was then seized by a number of stewards. I was too far away to be able to hear what the youth said, so can not say if he made any threats or if he was in any way abusive. I am assuming that these incidents were being recorded on the Stadium CCTV. Before you ask, I am not a youth with something to prove, I am middle aged and was a Policeman for 14 years, so I am what they describe as a credible witness.
  19. The only problem is that could get you a life time ban, and with the way Dave Armstrong was 'ASKED TO LEAVE' yesterday I am sure Lowe would make every effort to prosecute those individuals.
  20. Could I please ask how you know? Is it a reliable source? 2ndly ... I think that we should all protest in whatever way we feel right... but to protest en masse. Other clubs seem to be able to get their supporters together. We must not let Lowe be able to dismiss this as the 'Lunatic Fringe'. Those who have contacts in the press/media should use them to show the footballing world what we the loyal fans have and are suffering under Lowe. I dont think it is a case of one form of protest over another I think we should all protest in all the ways we can ... Protests during the match Protests after the match Lettrrs to news papers E-Mail the club. Plane banner Boycotting the matches or part of matches Any other way you can think of But please protest as long and as hard as you can.
  21. Long before Mary Queen of Scots, back in the 14th century, young men were banned by law from playing 'FOOTBALL' because it took them away from Archery pratice, Hence we won at Agincourt etc.
  22. By my poor calculations Portaloo record is .96 points per game. So even if this is the worst start in our 124 year history, he is still better than Wigley. Just shows how badly Wigley really was. My most hated managers, Lowe (because Lowe is effectively manager now if the rumours are coorect) followed by Redcrapp
  23. Apart from the fact it would cost more to redevelope Staplewood than we owe on St.Mary's. We dont own most if not all of Staplewood. Access is diabolical ete. etc. Total and utter pigswill..
  24. I (like many others no doubt) are depressed before I go to a match these days. Knowing we are going to lose. Pretty passing, but no decisve runs towards goal and a lone striker in McG, who is cant tackle, cant shoot, cant pass, and to be honest cant be bothered. I had a little flame of hope against Forest, but even thats now been extinguished. Personally I can see a 0-4 drubbing. If we even score I'd be surprised. A draw would be a miracle. I used to go to football in hope and expectation, now I go depressed in the sure knowledge we will get mullered
