Could someone more knowledgable than me (thats about anyone on this planet) answer the following enquiry. On 9.4.2009 a 'SOUTHAMPTON FOOTBALL COMPANY LTD' was set up with an address of 2 Old Bath Road, Newbury. This has probably been done to death on a previous thread ... But does this have any relevance to us ... and is the fact that it is registered in Berkshire close to our GeeGee loving/owning community have any relevence.

On radio solent news at 8.00 am they stated Fry had discounted bid from Swiss firm worth £10 billion. Dont know how true, but Fry has legal duty to get best deal for creditors, therefore their offer must have been worse deal for creditors. Wether they were worse deal for club... Might have been asset strippers trying their luck or a sugar daddy ... we shall never know.... Walked round Tesco's last night with smile on my face... Doesn't often happen in Tesco's...Thank you Pinnacle (who ever you really are).

I dont know who are the 'Money Men' behind Pinnacle, and am happy to wait until he/she/they are made public. But can anyone who knows who they are, if confidentiality possible, indicate what sort of wealth they are intending to put into OUR club, .... is thier ability just to save us from extinction, or have they a modest sum to invest ...for them to be an absolute money-bags is too much to hope.

I am getting curious/worried. For the last 50 or so days of admin. we have had a constant supply of information from various sources. Most of them I do not trust/believe. However we have always had on here a small group of posters who knew some of what was going on, and posted those facts without fabrication. i.e. I.T.K.ers you knew and trusted. However this small band seem to have disappeared, and even if they do post it is with some jovial unrelated remark. Why are all these people silent.. The large hoard of fantasist are thankfully quiet, but so worryingly are the more informed. Why are they quiet? Do they know whats going on and are bound to secrecy? QUESTION?????? If the club is liquidated surely the club no longer exists,,, In this case the players contracts are terminated and therefore they cant be sold ,,,,, They are worthless if the club is liquidated...

So the news is that 1. Today is friday. 2. Stock Exchange posted that SLH is dead.(something we all knew) 3. Stock exchanged posted talks are ongoing for assetts. 4. Lots of people have posted unsubstantiated b@ll@cks that stadium is to be sold seperately- and that both bidders are not good enough, etc. etc. 1 and 2 and 3 are substantiated. 4. Unsubstantiated rubbish posted by jokers and sadlifes. FACT... Today is friday, and we know no more than we did yesterday.
