Could be good news... SLH shares we all know are worthless and defunct. The administrator is in talk to sell the assets of the Company ie SFC, St Marys, etc. This could be a prelude to an announcement that the assets are to be offered to a prefered bidder.

Quite agree... I bet there were many on the Titanic who would have been delerious with a smelly old fishing boat. We ARE the Titanic. I for one would be happy to just watch a team run out in league 1 next year knowing we were safe and secure. But at least we dont smell of fish.

Forgive me if I'm wrong LL, but I think I remember you saying the bid had to be in by tomorrow morn at the latest. If so is this the final bids deadline?

As I understand it we have 1 bid on table and the other 'has' to be in by tomorrow morning. I'm GUESSING this is some sort of deadline for all bids set down by MF... If so we only have to wait till MF and his team have a good look through them, do a few sums, make a few calls to the creditors, and in no time we will know. Lets just wait a couple of days and no doubt we will all be mighty relieved. Lets just all, sit down ,shut up, and wait.

I am not ITK or in The Loop or have any knowledge of what is occurring appart from what I glean from the Echo and the Nationals (virtually all rubbish) and from on here. (just as much rubbish but with some pearls thrown before us swine). But what I do know is a couple of weeks ago Saints were kaputt, done for, dead, and extinct. Now we have One possibly 2 bidders wanting to save our club. I dont know the depth of their wallets or their motives, I just know Due Dil. has been done and Fry knows they have the money to do a deal. I am at present mighty happy with that. Anything else is just a bonus. Let us just be happy that SFC will see 125 years and rejoice in that.

However are points 1 and 2 about all we really definately know?

To sum up for those of us who know noone ITK and just get our news from here and rumours.... 1. A bid by person/persons unknown has been made. 2. Due Diligence is going through with hope of a bid from consortiium with links to MLT. 3. You can spell Haringey anyway you like because none who lives there can spell. Is that about it?

I was starting to feel some hope despite the dire position of the club.. But this IF TRUE is the last straw... The irony that we all donate money to keep this club going just so Lowe and cronies can buy it back on the cheap is sickening... Surely Fry must know of the feeling of the avaerage saints fan to Lowe, and there will be a boycott by fans if there is even a tenuous link of Lowe to any investor. FF or anyone, How can we contact Fry to place our position to him??? Perhaps if lots of people contact Fry he might understand the depth of feeling..

We will not hear anything until after the season is over. Buying a company/football club is not like buying a loaf of bread. All sorts of due diligence and complicated financial investigations, gaurantees etc are required. As well as both sides needing to establish exactly the extent of their liabilities/assetts. The whole legal process can get very complicated as well. Likewise the price is inevitably dependent on what league we are in and how many points the league what to deduct. Dont expect any news till way after the season is over.

Sorry if this has been answered before, I haven't had time to read all the posts on the forum but could Fry sell off all the assetts:- SFC, JF, ST MARYS, ETC to a person or consortium,(or several consortia) and leave SLH dead. If so would all the money go to SLH to be shared out amongst the shareholders as they would have a company with no business.?

From what I remember Early Bird renewals come out in March. I for one am not renewing this year whilst RL and Co. are at St Marys. I believe that Lowe et al. will not listen until they are hit in the pocket. I dont know how to contact Mr. Crouch, but I suggest the following:- If Mr Crouch would make the undertaking prior to Early Bird that if People do not renew their season tickets. That IF/WHEN RL etc are gone and he is back in some position of influence, that he will allow people to take advantage of the Early Bird at a later date, and not be disadvantaged. This may have some effect on Lowe. To those who say this will financially damage the club.... how much damage has Lowe got to do.
