  1. I re-emphasise... there is very little I can do unless you can provide me with either a screenshot of the offending advert or the HTML output of the page ("View Source" on most browsers), along with the specifics regarding your setup, i.e. browser and operating system. The advertising displayed comes from a variety of sources, and the only way we can determine whether it is something our advertisers are doing is with that information.
  2. Can you take a screenshot of a page with a popup showing? Our ads are set up to only display "inline" ads, i.e. no popups or overlays. However, it's possible that a stray one could slip through the system if the agency that created the advert set it up incorrectly (i.e. said it was an inline ad when it was an overlay, etc). If we can get the URL of the advert then we should be able to shut it off at source.
  3. There aren't any more parachute payments, the last one is this season.
  4. I like that they have adopted the Great Fans moniker to describe the Few. You can picture them doing the "quote marks" thing with their hands when you read their comments.
  5. In their final 4 games, Wycombe play Northampton, Bristol Rovers and Torquay. Could be interesting...
  6. Pompey have scored more goals, so they're ahead. For now.
  7. Northampton equalise. Edit: and Wimbledon will play for an hour with 10 men. Former Saints triallist Darren Carter with the goal.
  8. Plenty of time yet.
  9. What browser/OS are you using? Any chance of a screen shot showing them?
  10. It's worth pointing out that, while the teams in the Combined Counties and Ryman leagues benefited from the financial boost of big crowds when AFC Wimbledon were in town, they also caused a great deal of resentment with the Billy Big ******** and holier-than-thou attitude that seemed to manifest itself among a large part of the travelling fanbase.
  11. Possibly been told to sell upper tier before lower.
  12. According to the club, they take all the match circumstances into account, so the fact it was a Sunday lunchtime on TV wouldn't go against us if it's a Saturday 3pm game next season.
  13. In terms of points-per-game, we're 11th when the opposition score first. Only Stoke, Villa and West Brom of the teams below us have a better PPG record in those circumstances, so it's not horrendous, although we're one of only 4 teams (the others being Swansea, Sunderland and Crystal Palace) not to have won a game where the opposition has scored first. Worth noting that only 5 teams have conceded first on fewer occasions (City 5, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool 8, Everton 10), which suggests we start games pretty well overall.
  14. We've scored first in 19 of our 31 games, winning 12, drawing 3 and losing 4. Opposition has scored first in 11 games, we've not won any of those games, but have drawn 5 (losing 6). One 0-0 draw, v West Ham at home.
  15. Based on what? David Bick feeding Ben Smith lies again?
  16. Looking into it...
  17. Won't be us. He'll score goals, but offers very little elsewhere on the pitch and isn't particularly good at linking the play for others. Anyone we sign ideally needs to be able to do both.
  18. "Nowhere near White Hart Lane" would be my suggestion. Park outside and get the train in. Northumberland Park station is a 10-minute walk from the ground. Waltham Cross is probably a reasonable place, off J25 of the M25, and connects with Northumberland Park.
  19. And yet strangely none of the proper news outlets have picked up those quotes. Who'd have thought it.
  20. 91st minute winner for Torquay
