  1. Looking forward to the score on SSN popping up on the vidiprinter, we've scored so many they'll have to add the score in words in brackets SOUTHAMPTON 7 (SEVEN) PORTSMOUTH 0
  2. Only if it's a court-imposed Football Banning Order, which the smelly **** doesn't have.
  3. That was my initial reaction as well. What a mess he looks
  4. Arsenal v Spurs
  5. Only two genuine upsets in the second round, which leaves only 4 non-league teams in the hat for the third round: Grimsby Town, Kidderminster Harriers, Macclesfield Town and Wrexham (playing Oxford tomorrow night). 1 AFC Bournemouth 2 Arsenal 3 Aston Villa 4 Barnsley 5 Birmingham City 6 Blackburn Rovers 7 Blackpool 8 Bolton Wanderers 9 Brighton & Hove Albion 10 Burnley 11 Cardiff City 12 Charlton Athletic 13 Chelsea 14 Crystal Palace 15 Derby County 16 Doncaster Rovers 17 Everton 18 Fulham 19 Huddersfield Town 20 Hull City 21 Ipswich Town 22 Leeds United 23 Leicester City 24 Liverpool 25 Manchester City 26 Manchester United 27 Middlesbrough 28 Millwall 29 Newcastle United 30 Norwich City 31 Nottingham Forest 32 Queens Park Rangers 33 Reading 34 Sheffield Wednesday 35 Southampton 36 Stoke City 37 Sunderland 38 Swansea City 39 Tottenham Hotspur 40 Watford 41 West Bromwich Albion 42 West Ham United 43 Wigan Athletic 44 Yeovil Town 45 Sheffield United 46 Preston North End 47 Port Vale 48 Bristol Rovers or Crawley Town 49 Milton Keynes Dons 50 Carlisle United 51 Macclesfield Town 52 Southend United 53 Oldham Athletic or Mansfield Town 54 Rochdale 55 Peterborough United 56 Hartlepool United or Coventry City 57 Kidderminster Harriers 58 Plymouth Argyle 59 Wrexham or Oxford United 60 Fleetwood Town or Burton Albion 61 Grimsby Town 62 Leyton Orient 63 Bristol City 64 Stevenage
  6. That draw Still, could be worse, at least we've got *some* chance of progressing. Australia
  7. Already sorted
  8. Won't be many of those
  9. Apparently it's a minor traffic thing, appealing against a fine for using unsuitable tyres or something along those lines.
  10. Tbf, Barker was sacked by Crawley.
  11. We "rested" them all in that game to avoid injuries and yet they've all got injured anyway, so as it turned out we might as well have played them in that game for all the good the rest did them.
  12. Away at a ground I've not been to.
  13. And this couldn't be posted in the match reaction thread because...?
  14. He's got a valid point with his sarcasm about "Sky Sources", they've basically just nicked the "news" (easily obtained from oddschecker or reading reports and tweets from any of the local reporters) and claimed it as their own.
  15. Interesting... this screenshot from 2 minutes ago: Around 85 tickets left in the family section as well, albeit all single tickets so not entirely sure if they're actually able to sell them.
  16. It would be interesting to see how many ticket purchases are made for just one ticket. I'd expect the rate to be much higher at somewhere like the Mayflower where, realistically, you're not going to go on your own, whereas it's not particularly unusual to do so at a game. Considering there are a number of flaws in the system already, adding a feature like that (that's potentially pretty complex to implement) to the mix seems unlikely, sadly.
  17. First time for everything...
  18. Referring to yourself in the third person is a bit weird, to be honest.
  19. Oxford have bizarrely given Chris Wilder permission to talk to Pompey. Genuinely baffled by that.
  20. Next news story will be Pompey making an approach to Bristol City to enquire about Cotterill's availability...
  21. For the Villa game, they've only released a small block of around 300-350 tickets which goes back as far as row V and across 17 of the 28 seats in the block. I believe 17 is the maximum number of seats allowed from an exit for health and safety, so the segregation netting will presumably start next to that. Quite surprised they even released those tickets considering there's still around 1200 seats available elsewhere in the ground. One of the problems the club suffers from since they brought in the new ticketing system which allows you to pick your own individual seat rather than being automatically assigned them is that people instinctively want space between them and strangers, so if they're buying 3 or 4 tickets and they see a section of 7 or 8, they'll pick the seats in the middle of that available section rather than at the edge, which then prevents someone else who wants 4 tickets from buying next to them. It's particularly problematic in the family section, not one block in the family section (blocks 20-27) has completely sold out this season because there has always been odd seats dotted around all over the place which can't be sold.
  22. It was particularly strange that they approached Newport to speak to Edinburgh yesterday when he made it pretty clear in the press a week ago that he wasn't interested.
