  1. The coverage is provided by ESPN, but bizarrely they're not showing it on their own channel (although it's entirely possible that Eurosport is now owned by ESPN). Might be highlights on the tournament website, http://ct20.windiescricket.com
  2. Collapse ahoy
  3. I thought their player appearance policy might be something more like "we will seek to ostracise any player who demands that we actually stick to a contract we agreed to in the past"
  4. A quite impressive number of pots calling the kettle black there And I stand by that, having obtained the same figure from two sources, one of which was a ****ing public document Says who? Your mate high up at the club who you see socially every two weeks or so?
  5. And the rest
  6. Nor will they be able to pay a transfer fee for him.
  7. I'm genuinely baffled by the problems we've had over the past few games, as it appeared as though we'd fixed it up until that point. Baj and I will have a chat about it tomorrow.
  8. Ill, apparently.
  9. If United have been given 4100, as has been suggested elsewhere, that's a reduction on what they've had in the past.
  10. We can implement Facebook integration immediately, which would put "Like" buttons on every forum and thread, but my main concern is the effect this will have on site performance.
  11. All well and good wanting to sell - we know he's wanted to sell since before he took control - but you've got to find someone stupid enough to come up with the money first.
  12. Arse... just as he'd finally got himself back into form as a genuine all-rounder as well
  13. Particularly when he's doing so well to disguise himself as Jim Beglin
  14. I don't particularly like United, but Liverpool's fans deserve an absolute pasting today after what's happened in the last few weeks.
  15. I'm still far from convinced of the need to sign de Wet. Is there any update on the Sean Ervine situation?
  16. Interestingly, Portsmouth City Football Club Limited's accounts for the year ended 30th June 2007 (before Gaydamak decided he'd finished with this particular washing machine) show net liabilities of £30m, and total debts of £68.9m, of which £66.8m were debts falling due within one year. Any suggestion that nobody knew about the severity of the club's financial situation is utter nonsense.
  17. I must have missed something with the New Years honours list... no freedom of the city for Peter Storrie? Wasn't that what all the fans wanted?
  18. Don't know anyone who's driving, but there is a National Express coach back to Victoria overnight - departs at midnight and gets into Victoria at 6.20
  19. He was part of the Marc Wilson transfer at the end of August, but they didn't get the paperwork done in time for that part of the deal, so put it through as a loan (which could be done after the transfer window closed) with the permanent paperwork submitted ready for 1st January (although not sure he'll be available for Monday's game as the FL/FA offices probably won't have been open today)
  20. That'll do nicely, £50k is a ridiculous steal
  21. Brilliant. Let's have a march from a pub we were drinking in anyway to a match we were going to anyway. That'll show them. Nobody on that thread has come up with any ideas as to what they're actually protesting about, either!
  22. Suggesting that the near-silent atmosphere at Anfield last night was something out of the ordinary. Anyone who's been to a league game there that wasn't against either Everton or Man United will be able to confirm that silence is actually the norm. Also, their refusal to pin the blame for last night's performance on Messrs Torres and Gerrard who were both utterly anonymous.
  23. I don't think they're going to be signing anyone any time soon.
