  1. Alternatively, I've just found a way that means a) I don't have to find anyone else, and b) I can fit more 90-minute slots in for those who originally requested them. The home squad will now comprise of 15 players, not the original 16 bpsaint will now play 90 minutes at CB B Rabbit will move to LM RedAndWhite91 will now play 90 minutes at ST magnet's position will change to ST (first half) See the OP for the full revised squad listings.
  2. Not 100% sure of the compatibility on each phone types apart from Blackberry (as I have one). There is a version of the app that works with OS version 4.5 and 4.6 (8820 and 8320 models), and a version for OS 4.7+ (8900, 9000, Bold, Storm). Annoyingly, my 8320 has what appears to be a bloody ancient version of the OS (4.2!), so I'm going to have to upgrade that before it'll work.
  3. OK, I've had a look at the home team's lineup and taken into account various messages I've received from other players on that team and there are now three options to fill the last slot: Option 1 The original option of someone coming in to left midfield for the 90 minutes Option 2 I can switch B Rabbit to left midfield, which then leaves a striker position for 90 minutes available Option 3 bpsaint switches to 90 minutes at centre-back, B Rabbit moves to left midfield, magnet's 45 minutes is now as a striker, leaving a striker position for 45 minutes. Any takers from forum members only? At this stage, I'm not going to throw it open to friends who aren't registered on here.
  4. The revised timetable for next week is relatively unhelpful but could have been worse, I guess. 7.05 train in the morning instead of 7.00, with a couple of extra stops, but then the last train out of Waterloo is 5.32, and it'll be absolutely rammed. Just as well the schools are off, so quite a lot of people will have taken time off next week anyway.
  5. The latest SaintsWeb podcast is now available for download. The historic day at Wembley dominates the discussion, while we also preview the forthcoming Easter fixtures. Get it via iTunes or RSS from http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/podcasts/podcast.xml
  6. Looks like Unite aren't the only union who can't operate a ballot correctly, according to the Independent: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/network-rail-in-legal-bid-to-avert-strike-action-1932047.html As a daily train user, I'll be more than a bit ****ed off if I can't get to and from work next week
  7. The second points deduction is for failing to agree a CVA. 15 points for Leeds as it was their first time, 17 for Bournemouth and Rotherham as it was their second and 20 for Luton as it was their third.
  8. Too many stops if you're going to do pickups all the way along the route. One of the many things I learned from running coaches in the past is that you need to keep the number of stops to a minimum, people get fed up with it, particularly on the way home.
  9. Why do people listen to Talksport, FFS? It's just full of complete gob****es who couldn't get a job working for a proper broadcaster.
  10. A space has become available in the home team at left midfield. This is a 90-minute position. Please get in contact asap if you would like to take this position.
  11. As per other comments, I'd agree with all of that except to keep Jaidi as well. Even if he can't play three games a week (which we pretty much knew at the start of this season anyway, I think), his experience and strength are incredibly valuable.
  12. Anyone got the Youtube links for the goals from last year's game?
  13. The full version of the podcast is now online - sorry for the delay. Next episode will be recorded on Monday.
  14. Any loan that is longer than a month when it is originally agreed is deemed a long-term loan.
  15. However, in the same section of the rules...
  16. Yep, both Price and their other loan striker Darryl Duffy are cup-tied. Scott Dobie will be up front on his own, I reckon.
  17. Probably won't be online until Saturday, unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances.
  18. Not according to the Q&A on the BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8585903.stm
  19. 26th is the deadline, IIRC.
  20. Down from CCC Peterborough - financially crippled, any half-decent players they've still got will be gone in the summer Plymouth - also no money, pretty average team as well Palace - any player of any value will be gone in the summer, and Paul Hart's the manager. Up from L1 Norwich - as good as gone already anyway Millwall - look very dangerous and have been fairly consistent throughout the season, timed their run very well by the look of it Leeds, I guess - I really don't think we'd have anything to fear next season anyway, Beckford will be gone, Bates won't spend any money and everyone knows that when it comes to the crunch, they'll bottle it anyway. Looking at the other potential promotion winners, Swindon will almost certainly have to sell in the summer, so either Paynter or Austin will go (maybe both), Charlton are also skint and their best players have regressed this season, Colchester just genuinely aren't very good and are starting to get found out and Huddersfield's away record is poor. Down from L1 Stockport - gone already Wycombe - crap pitch Exeter - crap pitch Tranmere - we always lose up there Up from L2 Rochdale - as good as up already Notts County - will have to sell anyone with any value in the summer for obvious reasons Rotherham - new ground for me Chesterfield or Bury - new ground for me Don't want Bournemouth up, their fans would be unbearable. Particularly at the start of the season when they start the season above us on alphabetical order
  21. As someone looking to buy in the £125k-250k price range in the next 6 months, I totally agree...
  22. I'm reliably informed that they're working through the applications today. Mine appeared on my order history in the last hour.
  23. Nope, never got near it in 02/03, we were midtable throughout. Also, on the whole "opening the transfer window" thing, it's interesting to note that the ONLY place reporting this at the moment is the News. None of the nationals have mentioned it, so until such time I'll assume they're talking crap.
  24. Fail. :smt119 We went 4th at Christmas by beating Pompey. I struggle to see how we'd have done that without them being in the top flight at the time...
