Not in the least, pure speculation.

I am enjoying the WC already, the cricket 20/20 with England all but in the semis

No, simply that I don't believe it is from him. Agreed no one knows but but based on albeit limited information I'd bet a pound to a penny that if anything is afoot it is down to NC. As I stated I don't know but neither does anyone on here but that is my instinct and my opinion and will remain so unless anything happens to change my mind.

You keep going out about the possibilty of it being ML who is demanding more but as far as I can see there is absolutely nothing to support this. Cortese on the other hand has shown an arrogant side to his nature and it's far more likely that any disharmony stems from him/his comments. His arrogance I can live with but given as I keep stating he knows less about football than most of us it would be absurd if that arrogance and his ego led to him deciding HE was going to give AP the chop. In no way is it good practice in any line of business for someone to openly question his manager so who could blame Pardew if he speaks out from his point of view. No doubt at all in my mind that the only way Pardew will leave if is Cortese forces him out and that would be sheer madness IMHO.

This is quite probably the most sensible thread in the history of The Saints Web Forum

Unlikely to be getting involved much today though two I do like a lot : Utt 1.30 : Identity Parade- Weak race but Identity Parade ran a decent race to finish 2nd at Southwell a few weeks back over 2 miles 4f and the step up to 3 miles should see more improvement. The McCain/Maguire partnership always merits respect. Only prices so far are on BF but looks likely to be around the 2/1 mark. Plumpton 5.10 Putney Bridge NAP - Another weak race but Putney Bridge has been running well of late and in a field of very average horses stands out for me as easily the most progressive. Likely to be around 2/1-5/2. Also having a win double the two. Good luck but take it easy today ! Chris

Hmm, right now I fancy a Yorkie bar and it's only breakfast time.

Tasty line up forming for the Challenge Cup Q/F's. Already through Wigan, Leeds, Warrington and Bradford though there will be 2 non SL teams in the draw with the games today : Quins v St Helens : Have to fancy Saints though Quins are playing well, disappointed this is not live on BBC. Crusaders v Catalan- This is the live game, Crusaders playing well might nick this but can't get over enthused about it TBH Halifax v Batley Halifax clear favourites. Barrow v Hunslet Have to fancy Barrow though Hunslet are in very good form but a division below.

England all but into the semis after following their win over Pakistan with an easy 39 run win over SA. Second succesive 50 for KP. http://msnsport.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12040_6141995,00.html

Frankie made up for it though with Dandy Man @16/1 and a few others !
-
You mean Frankie's tip Dandy Man which just pipped Mabait, my tip, by a neck. Think we read the race pretty well, should have done the forecast !
-
I bet he won and you lost !

Circles ( still going around in them !)
-
11/12 would be damned spectacular but you'd still get precisely nought
-
93.28% say ABSOLUTELY YES from 253 votes, seems pretty conclusive !

To which I have responded !

Can't imagine ML missing the game as he was unhappy at our progress, rather like throwing his toys out of the pram and we know that is 100% not in his nature. I'm sure there is a much simpler ( but less controversial ) reason but that wouldn't create something to talk/write about would it.

Will be on i-player later !

In other words there might be a meeting on Wednesday but it could if it happens be about anything
-
Could just be a pre-arranged meeting to discuss possible signings etc; Either way I hope it ends this wretched uncertainty which could easily be ended anyway by one simple statement. To be honest I think the fans deserve better when rumours are flying around and though it's all very well saying why should NC respond to media speculation at the end of the day the fans should be the top priority, sadly that is rarely the case these days.
-
Just reiterates what most of us already knew which is the majority of fans are clearly behind Pardew. Would be a massive kick in the teeth for the fans if he is forced out.
-
It is.........indeed very good but it's now got me wondering too. At least you are sharing the misery !

I may be wrong but wasn't a last match pitch invasion almost obligatory when we played at the Dell ? Apart from one game ( 1978 ) when Spuds fans typically kicked off even though BOTH teams had been promoted it was always a fun thing and the Police/Stewards knew it was coming. The players got off without any harm and then thanked the fans from the Stands. I guess we live in different times or is my memory not as good as it used to be ?
