Not surprised though for me Paul Weller did some very good stuff with The Style Council and as a solo artist. That said The Jam were superb, "Dreams of Children" was probably over shadowed by being on the same single as "Going Underground" which in my memory at least was played much more even though it was supposed to be a Double A-side I believe.

Not for the 1st time the evening meeting at Kempton did provide some relief. Carioca and Clairvoyance both won as they pleased, at 11/4 and 9/4 both were definitely over priced. Goolagong went off at a ridiculous 8/11 in the 6.50 and regardless of the result Clairvoyance was a great bet. Just watched the later replays. Cold Turkey won @ 2/1 and Drizzi @ 4/1, both with some comfort. Think I should stick to AW races ! That said Viking Blond did also win at 11/4 so 5 from 11 is an amazing return by my standards !!

Indeed perhaps some of us have attended 1000's of games and seen even more on TV, played to a decent level, refereed games etc, etc ; But definitely most of us don't treat our fellow fans with contempt, don't think we know it all and don't prove the rule that you can't deal with stupidity.

Shock of shocks Rangers lost in the Cup semi final last night. I was following all the games on Sky Sports centre last night, only when it became 4-0 did the St Mirren fans start to relax. What is it with Saints fans lol
