  1. Which is the smart way to bet, I can enjoy the racing without having a single bet though a few small sporting bets does add to that enjoyment. I'm guessing like me you have multiple accounts and cannot avail yourself of free bet offers for new clients. If not try : http://bet72.com/big-free-bet-list/ http://www.freebetshere.com/
  2. ** At least you only put the mockers on on of saints stevo's selection !! Anyway stevo with all the free bets you must accumulate you should be quids in, just wish there was even one online bookie I didn't have at least one account with
  3. Lol, I checked on teletext, it was 0-0. 5 minutes later 3-0 !!
  4. No, they were 2 different questions, the same answer but with differing degrees of certainty/ uncertainty ! I imagine he will play a few games though I'm not banking on it.
  5. I never hear them, didn't even know they did go off TBH.
  6. Never :smt102
  7. For tomorow : The Package - Tuesday 2.40 Riverside Theatre- Tuesday 2.05 Garde Champetre - Tuesday 4.00 Mad Max - Tuesday 2.05
  8. Just sheer laziness There is a new thread for Tuesday and will be others for the other 3 days!
  9. The way Dunguib won the Deloitte Novice Hurdle was exceptional: However, his short price makes the market for the outsiders and I think of those only 3 or 4 seem to have a realistic chance of winning. Oscar Whisky is one, Get Me Out of Here another.
  10. Clearly it is worth looking around for this type of bet as of course it can give you the vital edge, finding the time is the problem so shared info on here is most welcome!
  11. I think Dunguib will win as well though much too short, good little bet this one !
  12. From main thread: 1:30 Supreme Novices Oscar Whisky- Irishsaint 83 2.05 Arkle Challenge Trophy Captain Cee Bee @ 3/1 - Irishsaint83 2.40 WH Handicap Trophy Khachaturian- Irishsaint83 3.20 Smurfit Hurdle Zaynar- Bungle Punjabi- saint stevo, notnowcato Celestial Halo- notnowcato Go Native- notnowcato, Irish saint83
  13. Fancies here please. As I say for every big meeting don't forget the ATR £1000 free tipping challenge: http://www.attheraces.com/cheltenham/tipping.aspx?hlid=507563&day=tue Someone has to be win , it could be you though hopefully me !!
  14. Napped by Mick Fitzgerald for the meeting and as a very good pointer won the Hyde Novices' hurdle. Betchworth Kid is a decent ew bet at 10's or better, will not mind the ground if it does get a bit soft and hopefully will get the trip.
  15. Could be a good 'un, 6/1 current best price I can see.
  16. Which brings Me Voici into the picture for the Triumph Hurdle on Friday, currently 20/1 at Victor Chandler and William Hill but only 10's at Corals. Just backed it at 20/1 with Hills ( stake returned if NR) with the hope of laying it at a much shorter price, cue rain dance as the horse is unlikely to run without a fair bit of rain by Friday though at least I'll have lost nowt.
  17. Post 8 refers TBH !
  18. Well even if was "only" a dozen others it is still pretty impressive. A fairly accurate list of notable LM signings I think : David Peach Peter Osgood Mel Blyth Jim McCalliog Peter Rodrigues- So there are 5 of the FA Cup winning side for starters Ted McDougall Alan Ball Chris Nichol Mick Pickering Phil Boyer- 5 more along with Peach instrumental in our 1977/78 promotion success Terry Curran Ivan Golac Charlie George Mick Channon ( returned in 1979) Dave Watson Peter Shilton Kevin Keegan Alan Ball ( for a 2nd time) David Armstrong Mark Wright Mick Mills Frank Worthington Joe Jordan Mark Dennis Alan Curtis Jimmy Case I would say that without any doubt that is an incredible list of signings by an standards!
  19. I particularly liked this : "As bad as Leeds were, you can’t fail to acknowledge how well organised, hard-working and fluent in attack the Saints were. Alan Pardew is a very good manager that gets the basics right and leaves very little to chance. The strengthening he did in January should give Southampton an outside chance at the playoff positions, but if they fail to make the top six, they’ll walk this league with absolute ease next season. " Very good summation of where we are at this moment in time and where we are almost certainly going to be in just over a year !! And yes AP IS a very good manager
  20. Yes, we have very similar players in SWP, Walcott, Lennon and even Ashley Young to play on the right. Beckham offers something different which is why I'm sure Capello decided to recall him in the 1st place.
  21. Without wishing to jump the gun I suspect his playing career is now over. It will definitely be a waste if he does not continue in some role within the English game, I think he will.
  22. I never agreed with the stick he got for being sent off in 1998, it was hardly a sending off offence IMHO.
  23. I'll always be convinced England would have won 1982 WC if Brooking and especially KK had been fit from the start. Another WC we went out of without losing a game
  24. Not going to happen is it ! As much as I feel really sorry for Beckham I think Ashley Cole will be a bigger loss.
