I really misted up. I had the honour of meeting Senna when he visited BAT in Shirley back in (ooh) 1983(?) when he used to drive for the the JPS Lotus team. I can remember him taking Prost off in Japan and cheering like a loon and the fatal crash at Imola; was at my Mum's for Sunday dinner and everything just stopped, all watching hands to mouth to see if was as serious as it looked.... Great champion and the best bit of TV served up by Top Gear.

Went to see Leaving (or Partir to give it it's French title) at Harbour Lights last night. Subtitled French film starring Kristen Scott Thomas who plays the bored housewife who starts a fling with a builder which leads to the ultimate destruction of her marriage with a brutal ending. Fairly predictable plot but superbly acted throughout by all. 6/10, but not as good as I've Loved You So Long....

That's quite a good read. Read it a couple of times over the years. I've gone for something a bit lighter of late. Just reading the Hitman Diaries, the third in the Burglar and Bankrobber Diaries trilogy by Danny King. Books that have no right being funny but are in fact hilarious.

Phew, that's lucky then....!!!! Or maybe it's worn away and he's got fat through the inactivity brought on by this....
