He seems to try a bit too hard IMO. And he's one of those people that has to hold himself back from laughing at his own jokes. I saw him 'Live' at the Appollo on TV the other night and he was quite funny, but I agree on Mock the Week he's rarely funny at all. Alan Carr is a ****.

Pffft, and people question JP's managerial descisions sometimes...

Where the hell is this plane going? I'd just like to point out, that I was in Swansea city centre in my 'flint' shirt on the day of the game, and didn't get stopped once...perhaps I just don't look like the trouble making type, I dunno? The sad fact of the matter is the police at football matches are there to stop the small minority of idiots who like to try and spoil it for everyone, and to do that they stop the more stereotypical looking hooligans. Of course this is by no means a perfect method, but these stereotypes of under 30 year olds in burberry hats and stone island jackets exist for a reason. Again, I'm not saying everyone who dresses like that is a hooligan, but I would hedge my bets that the majority of hooligans dress like that. I did think it was way OTT being caged in at the stadium though, especially considering I'd arranged to have a pint with someone before the match and was unable to get out once I'd collected my ticket. Swansea, has its fair share of ****s (just like every other club) but from what I could gather speaking to Swansea fans, they have no beef with us. Escorting minibusses all the way from Port Talbot also seemed to be asking for trouble. I don't see what harm a few men could do whilst driving down the M4, but oh well. I'd also like to point out, that I have been to a few matches at Swansea (1 of my best mates is a season ticket holder) this season, and the Saints game was nowhere near as bad as a couple of the others. Swansea v Cardiff was ridiculous. At one point there were 4 helicopters circling the ground and surrounding area, and I counted over 30 riot vans in the stadium car park alone (there were more around the city). Inside the stadium, I was sitting about as far from the away fans as you can get, but there were still riot police everywhere. Although I guess this game is a bit of an extreme example. Their game against Derby was just as bad as the Saints one too!

Erm....the 2 sets of fans live in the same city. I'm sure they'll just about manage if they're going to be at games 20 miles apart from each other.
