And if so, good timing by Ipswich to make an offer / unsettle the player in the week prior to playing us.
-
THB diving in and getting turned (again), Bednarek marking thin air. Take your pick. Both as crap as each other.
-
WTF is THB doing there? He has had a total shocker so far.
-
Sulemana, Dibling, TP and Armstrong probably is enough, in terms of quantity as opposed to quality? If archer is Juric’s 5th choice, he’s unlikely to get much game time (I’d prefer him to Armstrong but they probably see AA as fine for next season whereas Archer is more sellable?).
-
Suspect we'll leave the loan until the last minute (or perhaps more accurately, until all of the loanee's other options haven't materialised....). I'd be surprised if they didn't use the loan given Sulemana and Dibling injuries.
-
Wasn't Rasmus the one who recommended Juric before we appointed Jones?
-
Hopefully Dragan will see sense and get in a proper visionary business leader like Mickey Fialka. He'd deliver the five pledges. Maybe even six.
-
Odd that Kraft was so ineffectual, and good that the need for change has been recognised.
-
He must keeping bringing players on, thinking that they can't possible be any worse than the current ones, only to be unpleasantly surprised each time. Next cab off the rank will be AB-K, who has barely played for 18 months, having been a mainstay of our relegation defence. Poor old Juric will be genuinely excited at the prospect of Stephens being available next month. Someone should warn him......

The Narcissistic One is President of Goztepe, and has absolutely, definitely nothing to do with Saints whatsoever. None of this mess is his fault, he has been in Turkey the whole time. He will only be involved once things are going well, and then it will all be down to him, and nothing to do with Phil Giles or Matthew Banham.

Where’s our message from Henrik and Henry the Hoover?
-
I’d be amazed if Kraft is worth anything like that, give his career / background. SR’s lack of investment in a competent Board at either club or Group level is astounding, and worrying (getting the Dyson factory foreman was obviously a hell of a coup though). Agreed also that Kraft should be taking responsibility for the current shambles much more - including his appointments of Parsons and the other guy who has a weird title related to D of F (but not quite D of F), and their inability to positively impact us.
-
Even at those odds, I’d put your tenner on our relegation if I were you. And enjoy spending your 40p winnings.
-
Completely agree re SAA. I’d much rather invest time in him in the hope he extends his contract than persevering with Sulemana. Our management of both SAA and Meghoma was a further poor indictment of the wider club / SR.

I wonder how many of those triggered commission payments to Jonas Ankersen's Transfer Room.....

Two more sleeps until Rasmus-time
-
Only a few more days until Rasmus gets another crack at a January transfer window. Can’t wait to see what diamonds he’s unearthed this time.

Christ, there are a load of this squad to turn on before getting to Fernandes…..

RM has it in his contract that he has to be the tallest here, hair gelled slightly up.
-
To clarify - was the first team player also stating that Martin is completely useless?
-
There can no better evidence for a system not working. It's totally nonsensical that they have this deluded conviction that this style of football will ever be effective at our level.
-
They probably won't improve drastically under a new manager. The squad is dysfunctional and inadequate for this level. But similarly, RM is proving himself inadequate too. His player signings are poor; he hasn't developed the coaching set-up in any way since promotion; and he has proved to be tactically inept at key stages. I'm not sure why there is any point persevering with a coach who is so fiercely wedded to a style of football totally unsuited to the quality of players he has (or would have in any medium/long term basis ) at his disposal. I really don't see anything from him which suggests he is either the short or medium term answer.

I can hardly wait
-
Ralph was a harder act and a higher bar to follow, and hopefully our next manager will be less shit than Jones and Selles. Any potential replacement shouldn't be judged by their inadequacy.

A damagingly limited footballer, and a total moron.
