Exactly my thoughts! Heart says we'll beat them but their midfield looks far too strong for us. Saying that United "looked far too strong" for Leeds so who knows. Would rather they managed to fend off admin til next season when they are in the CCC and start on minus points then.

The Alfred is opening at 10am. Giddy Bridge weren't sure if they were going to be open or not yet.

Who else have they got to play in goal if James & Begovic both leave lol?

Not good enough, let Torquay keep him imo.

Judging by their assistant manager's comments prior to & after our games with MK Dons this season they clearly have some sort of problem with Saints so wouldn't expect this deal to go through now if it's up to them. Will have to wait til the summer. -
For the 23rd Feb, same day we're away to Wycombe! Oops! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1948478,00.html

Surely when they signed they'd have used an ounce of brain cell & realised there was a pretty good chance we wouldn't be going up this season & it was more about building for a title winning push next season. The likes of Fonte would never have signed a 3.5yr contract if this wasn't the case. -
How many players should we off load now or in the summer?

Otsemobor, Jon Gillett, Simon Thomson, Jake Perry, Chris Thomas, Wayne Wotton, Paul Mclaggon, Kayne Lancashire, Oliver Poke, Michael Forecast, Tommy Pulis, Anthony White, Jamie Molyneux, Lee Boyle, Jack IMO. -
Having read the whole thread again my views are: 1. Keep the away fans where they are & make more effort of opening up blocks 43 & 44 when the away following is small. 2. Open up blocks 1,2 & 3 again. 3. Make the concourses more user friendly, food & drink better. Better TV's in the concourses would be nice with a few showing the game & others showing soccer saturday at the same time would be good too. Also like they already have with the beer & pie only bar at the moment, just have a bar for alcohol only, no food or anything else. 4. Either open up the dell supporters bar to all home fans or atleast STH's. Away from the match day experience stuff I'd also like to see STH's given more bonuses & discounts. The only discount currently availabe from the club shops is 10% of a new shirt I believe. 10% off all the time on any product would be more appropriate imo. I like the fact the club have been giving STH's discounts on cup tickets this season but this could go further too. Schemes such as using a certain match for an STH to be able to bring a friend a long for a cut price, say a tenner. Not benefiting the STH directly but helping to get more people in the ground & hopefully encouraging them to come back in the future. Quite like the token idea, again with this STH's could be rewarded with 20 quid free on the token when buying their ST. Btw Son of Bob, just out of interest how did you get invited to this meeting?

Just got 4 tickets online, block 41 row JJ.
-
Yes was going to do it for Pompey game but assumed it would be the same for any game. Don't see the point in not doing online sales but still doing phones.
-
Anybody know when tickets are due to go on sale if they go on sale at midnight on that day when buying online or not till the morning at the same time the phone lines/ticket office are open? Cheers

+1. I don't agree with moving the away fans, the banter with the Northam is what makes the atmosphere good. Leave them where they are and open blocks 1, 2 & 3 as you say. If the club want more Saints fans in the Northam then when we are playing teams with less away following they should make the effort to open up blocks 43 & 44 as home areas.
-
All of block 41 open to Saints fans.
-
All of block 41 open according to David Luker so segregation netting must be half of 42.
-
Exactly what I was about to say! Stop moaning & get a Stockport ticket, you'll then be more likely to get a Pompey ticket. Simples.
-
Just sent Mr Luker asking a similar thing. Sit in 42 on the isle next to 41, obviously going to have to move but trying to find out where the segregation netting will be so we can get tickets as close as possible to this in block 41.

Need to rest Lambert & considering they are bottom of the table this is the perfect game to do it imo. After this we then have a week of just training with no midweek game to prepare for Exeter.
-
Mine would be... ------------------Davis------------------- Thomas----Jaidi----------Fonte----Harding Antonio---Morgan--------Wotton---Holmes -----------Barnard-------Papa------------ Subs: Bart, Ostemobor, Seaborne, Mills, James(?), Lallana, Lambert Swap James for Gillett if Lloyd is injured.
-
Apart from Saints don't do memberships anymore. Already said it but probably too late to do it now for Stockport but the best way imo would be this. STH - 1 ticket Anybody who attends Stockport/MK Dons & are on database - 1 ticket General sale to database - 1 ticket Ensures all STH's get a ticket & that Stockport/MK Dons is also a sell out.
-
...should be on the OS by lunch time - David Luker. Also 16k sold for Stockport on Saturday.

Pardew was only here for 3 of those games (wasn't even in charge for Ajax so make that 2). Also a lot of the current 1st team were not here. I fully believe that with a full pre-season under Pards & the squad we have now + a few more quality additions in the summer we will come out all guns blazing in August.
