JPT Final - Saints vs Carlisle - Build Up
saints_is_the_south replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
+1. Been to every game of the competition this season, 2 penalty shoot out wins, 2 wins on sky for a change & a packed SMS for the 2nd leg against MK Dons. Been great all the way through. The highlight for me was definatly Norwich, great night Papa scoring in the last seconds & then winning a pulsating shoot out. Can't wait for Sunday, going to be a great day out & hopefully be coming home with the trophy. -

Can't wait for this, going to be a great day. 3-1 Saints. -
S****horpe finished 6th last season with 76 points. To get 80 just to be sure we'd need to win all of our remaining 10 games. Unlikely, imo. To get 76 however we'd need 8 wins & 2 draws. We can't afford another defeat. Anyway don't know why I'm getting my hopes up as I just can't see it happening tbh.

Suggestion for Ticket Office - PLEASE
saints_is_the_south replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
+1. Quite a few times this season I've had tickets delivered & the envelope has been tampered with. As you said it's pretty easy to tell from the windowed envelope that they are tickets. -

Yeah, I expected Diego to be a lot better than he has been. Never saw anything from Melo that suggested he was worth €25m. Good player yes, not worth that though. As has been said on this thread the level of Italian football in European competitions has become pretty poor. Serie A itself has actually become one of the most exciting leagues to watch, certainly in terms of goals - there were 39 last weekend including two 3-3 draws & a 5-3 game too. Contrast this back to the 90's when there wasn't as many goals in Serie A but the Italians were very strong in Europe, it's virtually done a complete change around in the space of a decade, exciting attacking football in the league but crap when it comes to Europe. There's a lot currently wrong with Italian football though & I'd be here for ages explaining it all!

I follow Serie A as my 2nd team are Roma & I can tell you Melo & Diego have been complete gash since Juve signed them! They're currently 5th a long way behind the top 3 & I wouldn't be surprised if Palermo beat them to the 4th CL spot. Not surprised Fulham have beaten them atall tbh.
-
Great result indeed for Fulham but it is worth noting that Juventus are nowhere near what they used to be.

Indeed they were!

Was told by Lee Hetherington at the TO that season ticket details will probably be released mid April.

Anybody here ST holders who ordered their's in the first few day of sales received their tickets yet? A mate of mine got his on general sale just before they sold out and he's received his. Wondering if those of us who ordered tickets when they were first on sale are at the bottom of the pile & those who get the last ones are at the top hence why they are receiving them first!

Quite a few times this season when tickets have arrived in the post the envelope appears to have been tampered with. Not received Wembley tickets yet but I imagine it will be the same case with these, hopefully the tickets remain inside otherwise there will be hell to pay for somebody at the Royal Mail.

Norwich champs, Leeds 2nd & Millwall up in the play offs imo.
