Hopefully we're 2 or 3 nil up when 90 minutes is up so those including myself can leave early knowing a win is in the bag! Btw I phoned the Hythe Ferry yesterday & they aren't running any services either on Boxing day. So it's the 5.10 bus or bust for those of us coming from the Hythe/Fawley area!
-
+1! Looks like the same for boxing day!
-
Just over 25k sold & selling well today according to David Luker, club hoping for a near on capacity crowd.

Lambert's free kick against Tranmere for me.

Leeds v Saints - Post Match Reaction
saints_is_the_south replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
Good effort against the best team in the league, maybe could have nicked something at the end but not to be. Back to winning ways on next Saturday. -
Kallis gone, big wicket
-
Great start from England this morning, 2 wickets taken & only conceded about 30 runs so far today. Anderson & Onions in particular bowling very well. Still about an hour or so till lunch so another couple of wickets would set the afternoon up perfectly. Ideally want them all out by tea, have a bat this evening then all day tomorrow to win it. Need to try & keep their lead sub 250 if we can i think
-
If we can skittle them over for 150/200 then we have a good chance to win it. Early wickets tomorrow are the key
-
Agreed. I'd be quite happy with just winning League 1 each year but not actually moving up divisions. Sure I'd love to see us back in the Prem but I've enojyed this season a lot so far. We go into every game with a very good chance of winning, the football is entertaining & we don't have a team full of mercenaries ripping the fans off. I'm happy with things being that way. Added to that are the away games which so far have been excellent.
-
Trott gone also, currently 143-3, KP on 29.
-
Funniest thing I've seen in ages, brilliant!
-
South Africa all out for 418, Swanny with a 5 wicket haul, Onions took 3 & 1 a piece for Broad & Anderson. England just started their innings, 3 for no wicket.
-
Well the 20/20 series in SA started on the 13th November, over a month after England's last game which was 1 day game in the ICC at the start of October so a break of over a month. I was only referring to test cricket though.
-
Not really, certainly not test series anyway. The last test series finished on 23rd August & the next one started on the 16th December. So a break from test cricket of just under 4 months, enough I'd say.

OS now been updated, home leg confirmed for Tuesday 16th February with a 7.45pm KO, not scheduled for TV. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1907454,00.html

Had asked work for the tues off lol, ah well can easily be changed to the weds. 7pm KO also means getting home a little earlier which is good.
-
The terrace holds about 1,200 & we can have 300 seats on the side so in answer to your question, not many!
-
Meh, make it Chelsea or whoever then, that wasn't really my point tbf. Whoever it was I wouldn't want us to be merging, whether it be with Barcelona or Bournemouth.
-
Got to be a wind up surely!? The weirdest thing is that the majority of Watford fans on there seem happy enough to let it happen. I know for sure if back in the summer we were offered a merger with Reading for example or start from scratch I know what my choice would be.
-
+1. Also, if they are going to introduce a higher ticket price when buying on match day then surely a £2 discount when buying a certain number of days in advance wouldn't go amiss either?
-
+1! Regarding allocations, if the same rules are applied as they are in FA & League cups then we'd be entitled to 15% of the capacity (22k) so 3,300. Shouldn't be any danger of them bringing anymore than 2k max to SMS I'd have though so no moving the Northam fingers crossed.
-
Lol. I would certainly like to see a special discount given to those ST holders who have been to every game so far for the area & fingers crossed Wembley final.

MK Dons - JPT area final
saints_is_the_south replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in Saints Away Supporters
Clapham to Bletchley return on nationalrail is £8.90 each return for the times you mentioned above + £14.25 Soton to Clapham return = £23.15 each again based on 4 travelling with 1 rail card. -
Cheers, buying through national rail is only 85p more & change at the same station on the way there & back so will most likely do that.

MK Dons - JPT area final

Cheers - Never been to MK before so will probably give both a go, lunch time arrival to MK & then onto Bletchley about 5ish. Anybody know if the away allocation rules are the same that apply for FA & League cup games ie 15% of the total capacity of the stadium. If so we'd be entitled to 3,300 tickets but i also read on the main board that Leeds took 4k there?
