  1. Tonda reported as not knowing the rules. Why the f**ck didn't someone at the club tell him?
  2. This is taking longer than VAR.
  3. I hope not, but there was someone yesterday on one of the threads, and talk of tickets being easy to get that made me think it might be.
  4. Anyone thinking of not going because of our alleged spying , consider this. Yes I want to strangle ( figuratively speaking) whoever in the club thought that the rewards for doing this outweighed the risks, let alone the moral question, but the innocent party in this, besides the fans of all clubs is the players. It is their careers on the line and it can not help but have has an effect on them. They have been brilliant for us for the last few months and deserve our support more than ever. I for one will be singing and shouting louder than ever next Saturday (if we play)
  5. Tonight could be a bit weird though. Win and then it's like the longest var ever
  6. Some have said that the lone wolf theory is improbable but for me it seems equally bonkers that someone higher up would think this was worth risking the reputation and future of the club for. As a glass half full type of person I think if this was authorised anywhere above the lowest level the EFL are going to want to make an example of us and that will be a sporting sanction that will affect our future one way or another.
  7. I don't disagree, but if you need a late goal I'd rather have Charles than Jander, but both great options.
  8. Arguably the best back to back wins since winning at Pompey in 1976, 3 days after reaching the cup final. The manager made changes that day but not just for tiredness.
  9. He's an interesting player. He can look clumsy and awkward and then show great skill and pace. He's always a handful though and just what we needed.
  10. Yes, but what if we won (heart ruling head, of course)
  11. He tried to replicate it in the 3-3 draw at the Dell but got brought down for a pen. Footage of that certainly does exist.
  12. Unlike a lot of people I like to watch a whole game of football and not go for a pint 10 minutes before half time and leave 10 minutes before the end.
  13. Yes, thanks for biting but 10 goals in the last 3 league games kind of confirmed that for me.
  14. Yes but we can't get to the playoffs, we sold our top goalscorer in the window. Who's going to get the goals?
  15. Maybe we didn't play as a team. Also players are allowed to improve with experience.
  16. I don't think many teams go up with 11 top notch Premier league players. Yes you need some to survive and then you rely on good team work to stop the oppositions best players as Saints have shown many times over the years and in that context Bree would do just fine.
  17. To be fair they have won more major trophies than us, but we've been in more major finals (FA and league cups), semi finals, seasons in the top league and seasons in Europe.
  18. I know nothing Archerb did went right but I'm not going to jeer any player who puts in that much effort however badly he plays.
  19. It was a miracle. On teletext Saints went straight from 3-1 down, way after finishing time to 4-3 final score. Why was I looking at teletext? At half time I'd had enough , I hated Saints, I hated football, I hated how I felt about football so I decided to watch BBC 4 instead and stop looking at my phone. But there's always teletext and I couldn't resist a quick peak every now and again. Apparently they had problems and I was beginning to wonder why none of the matches were finishing. So after them winning the league and finding Richard 3rd this was the third miracle of Leicester.
  20. Dreaming out loud, if we did make the play offs we would certainly have momentum and it's usually the team with momentum that goes up rather than results earlier in the season.
  21. Ye, but apart from that why can't they sign forwards who can score goals?
  22. Dear SR, The time before last when we were in the lower leagues we signed the likes of Lambert, Sharp, Antonio, De Prado ,Connelly, and Papa Wago, all of different ability but all able to score goals on a regular basis. Why do you find it so hard to sign forwards?
  23. Oh for the good old days when we used to sell our best players to Liverpool to win trophies. Now we sell them to West Ham to help them get relegated.
  24. Well it wasn't sideways and backwards and the subs were players that a lot of people thought should start. It's not just Tonda but why do managers make so many substitutions almost at once? I know players are tired and there are only so many windows but too many changes and they can't all get to the pace of game. The keeper was looking alright until Pompey started to get a few corners. Get enough corners against us and you're guaranteed a goal. We almost start at least 1-0 down.
  25. I think you'll find keepers come in all shapes and sizes including fat.
