I thnk if we played them tomorrow, and ****ted them as we would, we would crow about it just as much. I know I would!

At what point are the club going to invest in Dyson airblades?
Huffton replied to Tom8558's topic in The Saints
Would be a massive step up for him, to be fair -
Might be a great young manager but I lost all respect for Eddie Howe when he whined for the best part of 2 months after we beat them in the first game

Like it! Borrowed...

Check your keyboard mate, I think your '0' key may be sticking...

Considering we took 800 to Hartlepool on a tuesday night, the queues on the M1 must be awful tonight as the bestest travel north in their hordes. Oh, hang on, it turns out the jam is caused by their taxi breaking down in the outside lane...

Seriously? That was the most blatant foul i've seen not given. If it had been the other way round he would have given the pen, a red card, and probably had the Saints player executed in the centre circle. The bloke is an incompetent ****. Also does anyone else think their goal had a hint of offside about it? I paused it on MOTD last night, Dzeko looks a shade in front to me, not that it matters now...

Ah yes, the 'no Guly on the pitch so I need to find another scapegoat' thread:uhoh:

Alan Pardew started us back on the right track, Nigel carried that on, that should never be forgotten.

Good point, I might put the mrs in the back instead;)

Just changed my job so decided to treat myself to something a bit more fun than my boring everyday Mondeo. I don't have thousands to spend, probably only 3k tops so something older is not a problem, but I want something quick, something that says full on mid-life crisis, but at the same time not totally impractical as it will need to fit a couple of kids in the back and some golf clubs in the boot, and God forbid, the mrs may need to drive it at some point. I was thinking about an Impreza, any other suggestions?

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/tickets-newcastle-united-vs-saints-623943.aspx £26 and £5 for under 18s. Sorely tempted by that

We had one game to win to stay up, against Man U granted, but is not like we've never beaten them before, that was all we needed to do, one game. And that twitchy cu nt didn't even play our strongest team. Hope he gets a full 90 mins of absolute dogs abuse. this game for me is second only to playing the inbreds in terms of hatred and how much I want us to win.

Probably the only real bit of truth in the entire thread...

Jesus H Christ, what does it cost to keep someone in prison for a month? Oh I forgot, it doesn't matter as the country has shed loads of money sitting around needing to be burned:rolleyes: No matter the rights and wrongs they broke the law and deserve to be punished, but surely a small fine and a ban for the rest of the season is more than enough?

Sorry to veer off topic a bit, but my 14 old lad is thinking about taking up reffing, mainly as a way to be involved in football and earn a bit of pocket money. Unfortunately it means the bank of dad has to shell out £150 on a basic ref course. I'm assuming you've already done this so can you give me an idea what its like, is it easy enough? He's played right through to tyro so has a decent grasp of the rules, and if he went for it would only be doing mini soccer anyway.. Cheers

Saints don't punch women, particularly ones with a small child...

Despite growing up through the 70s and 80s to this day I can't see how supporting a football team could make someone want to have a fight. But each to their own, if these knuckle heads want to kick ten shades of ****e out of each other over a shirt good luck to them, but why can't they restrain themselves enough to do it away from the normal people who just want to go and watch a football match? This is the main reason why I rarely travel away anymore, somethings wrong when you get started on by 5 or 6 of your own supporters for not joining in with yet another rendition of pompey fan on a string...

Cycle ride - Southampton to Sunderland - Last away game
Huffton replied to Dr Who?'s topic in The Saints
I don't want to **** on your fire, but have you any idea how hard that will be? Don't take offence but looking at the cycling thread in the other forum you haven't done many rides over 70 miles? And how many times have you ridden that distance on consecutive days? Thats the real killer, even if you do manage the first day you have to get up and do it all over again without a day of recovery. Like I said I don't want to **** on your fire, and fair play if you have a go, but give it some serious thought, and training. IMO to stand a chance you will need a few 100+ mile rides in your legs before you start. -
Half Saints Half Wigan scarfs? (and a bit of Man u review!!)
Huffton replied to ericofarabia's topic in The Saints
I never get involved in the 'what you should and shouldn't wear at football' threads, mostly as I am very easy going. Wear what you want, it doesn't affect me in the slightest, and I think no less of someone dressed in a full replica kit than I do some Danny Dyer wannabe (even if am laughing at you inwardly), however this: should be the law, and would be far better half time entertainment than a bloody relay race! -
I don't have to pay my overdraft back?!?

Always been a fan of flight sims, right from the days of the original Spectrum, right up to the set up I had before we moved house a couple of years ago and the desktop had to go due to room considerations. MS Fs02 with all the sliders maxed, add on scenery and aircraft, usually the PIC767 or Captain Sim 727, generally 'flown' online using the Vatsim network.
