  1. Very very sad news. Get better v.soon Jay
  2. Moyes was a gamble, one that so far hasnt worked. Moyes' failings will probably make it harder for managers with potential (like mopo) to get a shot at a big club. Mopo needs to win something here (or finish top 6 a few times) before the big clubs seriously come knocking. Michael Laudrup is a mopo type/style manager, hes actually won something as a manager but still struggling to get top clubs to take a gamble. A european club in portugal or a mid table spanish side might take a punt on mopo right now, but a top 6 side in one of the top leagues - NO CHANCE (atm)
  3. Mopo isn't going to spurs.... No chance. Sherwood is not good enough for spurs and he's outdone mopo tactically twice in the last few months. Spurs will go for a big name with a proven managerial record
  4. Fabio Quagliarella http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2014/03/juventus-striker-linked-with-southampton-move/? 5. It was a great bit of skill Question on Morgan - Has he been as good as last season? Would love him to start adding a few more goals to his game. Struck me at the weekend how good Yaya T is. So good defensively, but also scores 15-20 goals a season.
  6. see post 47
  7. Youre full of 5hit - just like your pal Wu
  8. He will get a few more goals now that Jay is likely to miss the rest of the season Might even put him in my dream team - consolidate my top spot
  9. Not sure about the original source, but took pic from here http://goonertalk.com/2014/02/21/arsenal-have-had-more-injuries-than-any-other-premier-league-this-season/?cat=4&submit=view
  10. Agreed, bit late now.
  11. Nope im not suggesting that, and if you'd taken time to read all my posts you'd see that. Play the post, not the poster mate See the stats/facts (pic above) from Friday, February 21st. Not all clubs have the same luck. In terms of injuries - some have very very good luck (us, cardiff, stoke, chelsea) and some have very very bad luck (Arsenal, palace, man u, villa)
  12. Its scary to look at the Everton team/squad and then see how well they are doing. Their squad is very small quality wise and on paper the first 11 is not as good as Spurs, Man U and even ours Martinez seems to be able to get something special from the most average of player(s)
  13. Got to respect this. 2 nil up now vs Arsenal. Win today and they are 1 point behind Arsenal with a game in hand Superb
  14. Managers should get 2 challenges per game... Similar to Tennis
  15. See post 50
  16. playing the post not the poster
  17. Thats a different discussion. The claim (myth) was that we have had more injuries than anyone else The truth is weve had far, far less than everyone else
  18. Hope Mopo isnt going to moan after every defeat. We were heavily beaten by the better team yesterday, not the ref or lino
  19. Club is waiting on swelling to go down and will scan after that. Update from club
  20. Gaston will be superb next season. Just needed 2 seasons to settle imho
  21. Just waiting on "source" for the full house
