Good spot - 50k in Jan should secure him I think. Danger is you leave it till the summer and someone else comes and sneaks him away?

someone has to be the scapegoat and right now Wotton fits the bill. now that he has been identified as a 'weak link' he is under pressure to perform and any mistakes will be magnified. normally the manager would be the whipping boy but AP has not been here long enough to criticise (although some have already started to question his formation) and other candidates (Lancashire, Perry, Thomas, BWP, Paterson, Euell ect) are out of the side or left.

Will they come back for Dean Wilkins? Perhaps thats why the return of Jason Dodd?

He is not better than Beattie. Beattie is scoring goals (has done for years) in the prem. Lambo is scoring goals in L1 - big difference!

A good month for AP and Saints but more worthy candidates imo. Aidy Boothroyd at Colchester is doing an amazing job considering resources and the fact he took over after a few games. Leeds have lost one game all season! Lambert at Norwich - Norwich are flying! Paul Ince at MKD's Jackett at Millwall Wilson at Swindon Even Parky @ Charlton. all doing better than AP so far this season. Realise the MOM is based over a month so would go for Boothroyd or Jackett this month.

I would suggest that Antonio and Connolly coming on has more impact than Wotton coming off.
