  1. Suggest an attitude problem and concerning that he’s not played for the 1st team OR the reserves yet! May offer some backup – no more imo
  2. I know you're not talking about me, but I do like to moan too sometimes. Merry Christmas incase I dont see you xx
  3. You forget to mention the takeover and euphoria that followed + big support (home and away) + new manager + new season (fresh start for all) + stability + + + For every excuse used for why we started so badly there is a reason why we should have.
  4. A good workman doesnt blame his tools - AP had enough quality in the early part of the season to produce better results than he did. Case closed!
  5. I agree and on current form that would be fair. Antonio for me was our only real chance of equalising on sunday - was shocked when he was removed. I understand the need for fresh legs but felt Antonio should maybe have been switched to the left, Llanna to centre and have Waigo go on the right in place of Conolly. If nothing else this may have unsettled the Brighton defence (they had a day off)
  6. Still leaking goals even when we do play well (no clean sheet in 10) concerned that if goals dry up we will start to really struggle. Few injuries to a few key players and we could be going down like Bobby Brown! (I dont mean relegated just lose a few)
  7. I don't buy into the whole 'needs/needed time' cliche.......Yes he was new to a job but that does not excuse the poor start/season so far. Norwich are a case in point - lost 7-1, lost manager, team a mess ect ect...in walks Lambert and now Norwich are top of the form table and 5th place in the league. MK Dons and Ince - new manager late in the summer (little pre-season) MK Dons are 4th. Colchester - new manager, lost best players after the season starts. Bang * 3rd in L1! I could go on........
  8. Start with 4-4-2 and is clear that we have no plan B and become too predictable. Start with 4-5-1 and 2nd half unleash the 4-4-2. Teams in L1 will not be able to cope with the tactical change and we can finally get out of the bottom 4.
  9. Important game for us...... Defeat and we could be 7 points behind 5th bottom..... Could mean we are still bottom 4 at turn of the year.
  10. The stat/fact that counts is league position and we are 22nd! After 16 games that is very very poor. Without the minus 10 we are still only 12th one point above the mighty Yeovil and below the giants of Swindon, Walsall, Hartlepool, Bristol Rovers, Huddersfield and Colchester. We are 16 points behind Norwich (relegated with us last season) and 20 points behind Charlton. Meanwhile Leeds have 24 points more than us! If we lose again this week against Norwich then we could be 7 points behind 5th bottom club Leyton Orient!
  11. Be intersting to see how many we have scored from corners and then compare that with how many we could have scored - I agree our corners have been kak for too long baby
  12. lazy ****er
  13. a defeat against Norwich could leave us as much as 7 points behind 5th bottom in L1. After 17 league games that has to be considered unacceptable. We have underachieved so far this season and cannot afford another defeat. If we are still in the bottom 4 come xmas (now sadly a real possibility) then some of our better players may want to jump ship in Jan.
  14. They should have been!! Brighton didnt play well imo - we played awful and made them look good.
  15. Cant people converse without the need for insults?
  16. I dont think anyone is/was expecting to never lose again - I think folk are simply venting because we lost against a poor L1 side. The result yesterday was not acceptable and that is why some (rightfully) will have a moan. Nothing more nothing less. Next week is now a BIG test - the longer we remain in the relegation zone the more I worry about players confidence and holding on to our better players in Jan.
  17. AP stated (a number of times) that top 2 was his target THIS SEASON - the only people hoping/wanting a season of consolidation was a small number on here.
  18. He says the same things that every manager says after a defeat - its easy for managers to spin an interview as they restict questions and walk away if tough questions get asked. Biggest question AP needs to answer is why (with the team, support and money spent) are we still in 22nd place. AP wanted out of the bottom 4 within 10 games!!!!
  19. Hammond it is then!
  20. We have little backup imo - its become more obvious that now Conolloy and Antonio start we have no plan B and thats a worry. 1st 11 is good (not today) but you need cover and we lack this imo
  21. Q1: Why are we still in 22nd place (after 16 games) Q2: Why have we lost to Brighton (who have won just one in the last 10) Q3: Why have we dropped so many points at home this season Q4: What is plan 'B' now that we start games with Antonio and Conolly
  22. do we know why its his last game? commentator didnt mention it again (if he did I missed it)
  23. SERIOUS questions needed after today
  24. we lose because teams have a new manager - we also lose because ours is new....go figure
  25. doesnt matter which way you cut it - 22nd place after 16 games is very very very poor
