I spoke with a mate on mine today who is a good friend of wilkins - apparently they were all texted on Monday morning about 8.00am to come to the ground for a meeting - wilkins was then called 10 mins later and was told what was going to happen but was told he was wanted to stay on - he called back about 20mins later to confirm he would stay on as he had done nothing wrong and needed the job - he was coy about the reasons but there was no major incident basically Pardew and co had been treating the staff like sh*te and NC had had enough so got rid of them all

This situation is completely different - Hoddle was a complete C**t, who was always going to jump at the first opportunity, he clearly had no regard for SFC, never said a positive word about us afterwards and had the ignominy to take our best players. NA was leaving on amicable basis and clearly wanted the best for the club that he was leaving. I for one never want to see Hoddle step foot in St Marys

I think that of the contenders only MoN would seriously wow the majority on here - any other candidate would be lucky to wow more than 30% of the supporters

Is n't the master plan to fund SFC to become a top 6 premier league club - outside of the top 4/5 clubs which all have established managers there's not really any clubs where they have the funding and ambition to give MoN what he wants - therefore I think that SFC becomes a very interesting project for anyone - I am sure that NC can paint himself in a good light and prove the funds will be there to tempt MoN
