Given that they show that the net income from transfers only needs to be £1m you do have to wonder who actually leaked these "accounts".
My money is on his last name begining with J...
"He also explained that the club were fighting the Premier League's decision to retain the club's Sky money..."
Hang on... Did you tell the EPL to distribute it or are you fighting them? At least try to have a full 24 hours between contradictions!
If Lambert is "worth" £1m then Papa is worth a lot less than that...
Agree that it depends on the price though. He has potential but can't seem him being good enough in the future if/when we get to the prem.
Edit: On balance.... no. For the money we are talking (although we aren't ITK) I think we could do better.
Surely the only justification for doing this would be becuase they had massive investment and were able to pay the other clubs on their own.
But then if this is the case, why does it matter if the PL just pay it direct?
P*mpey to come bottom at 11/1 was my best.
If I'd pulled my finger out a couple of days earlier I could have got 13/1.
I also bottled it and put half (£10) on them to finish bottom and the other half on them simply being relegated at 3/1.
Should have had the courage of my convictions and gone all in with the house deposit money.
