I do not believe for one moment that Nineteen Canteen is a Saints supporter.

Went to the Exeter v Norwich game yesterday and came away believing that Saints will pick up easy points from these two teams....Then I read the reports from Huddersfield and it dawned on me unless we get 4/5 new players we will be no better than what I saw yesterday. A few good players but many that were no better than Conference standard. MAYBE my expectations are still toooo high. As for wingers Wes Hoolahan and Simon Whaley in the right side would be electric and very good service to Lambert....Grant Holt was a big handful but not in the same league as RL..BUT works a lot more than Rasiak to make things happen around him. There were a couple more that would easily make the Saints side but many as stated lower league standard. McCallister came on and is a big lump and good in the air but not Saints standard. Gill was ok but no better than Gillet...Adeyemi looked useful/powerful young midfielder. Jens Berthel Askou a big lump of a centreback and would be good in our defence. Do Norwich need the money? Hopefully new signings this week. COYRs

I showed a couple of football mates the MLT video goals and all that.....They could not remember them all but both stated how wrong it was that he had no REAL England career.....Class act and when you see some of the dross picked by various England Managers.....Really criminal. COYRs

I am well old, so to speak..My idols at Saints are in double figures over the years. Big Ron, Painey , Sydie etc etc......But MLT is my God and a true Saints Legend. His Calendar picture still adorns my Garage wall with other Saints memorabilia......The missus moved it out the house when I wasn't looking.....When will you grow up..and the like... are some of her comments shouted out to me when I sit in the garage listening to football reports on the radio etc and reading various programmes.... When my daughters were younger..They thought MLT was a relation or some sort of God..due to the various pictures of the great man on the wall around the utilityroom/garage.....I still fail to grow up...So her indoors suggests to her daughters. I believe a football man like AP would be glad to deal with A Sports Director..answerable to one person who knows what they are doing etc Makes life a lot more straightforward in order for him to get on with the team.... I wish Forecast well, with his month at Grimsby.....Is he as good a goalkeeper as a five year contract warrants...I have no idea. Strange decision to pay/contract Forecast and Pulis without any real history to their careers. We already had goalkeepers and midfield players by the bucket load. Pulis should be loaned out to Aldershot or Brighton for 1-3 months.. then we would know what he is made of and whether he has a pro future. Personally we were steamrollered into some strange decisions. Mind you with AP and crew in place the incoming footballers will be the real deal......Harding, Lambert, Murty and now Melis proves the experience of real football peeps.

My sawce tells me that Stoke are monitoring his progress very closely..... We should tell them where to go.....They have taken tooooo many of our top players.
