Regardless of what has been stated on this subject...JP, Wotte or Phil the Whale had never previously seen, heard or spotted the talent of Pulis, in his cameo role for Stoke against the Saints. Because we had no scouts only girl guides during the period of his signing... this was a decision by our Director of Football. JP fumbled some statement that Pulis looked good in his few minutes in the Stoke game....JP was a PUPPET... Some will talk of The Andrew Davies transfer etc..... BUT that does not excuse us taking a non footballer as part of the deal and valued at £300,000 as part of that deal.....There were others willing to take Davies at the time. Opinion based on what I believe......Now what The Masons had to do with this...Not a clue. Does it still exist at Swaythling for the students.

As someone stated on another thread..Many of these players are not getting match time at any level and therefore a big leap when moving into the first team/ squad.
