  1. Lets just Luv the Saints from now on and be friends.... big boy. I am still growing but alas time is not on my side...I am sure you would like big Lawrie if you met him in different circumstances. Standing on his bunnions..probably didn't help. I will not mention Rupes again...but as I move on ...LM is twice the man Lowey is:D Keep up the good work... big fella.
  2. The experience/reading of the game and back to match fitness..was only going to be a BIG plus for us.....Definitely lost points and damage to my predictions table..otherwise I would be way out in the lead...Putting Saints down for a win every game has also held me back.....Murty back soon ..hopefully and Saints to win big on Saturday..at least 3-0. COYRs.....Met Murty and he is not only a nice guy but a true pro and will be good for the Saints in many other ways...
  3. To me Lawrie Mac will always be a BIG man...A very BIG man. I always found him to be firm but fair BUT NOT suffering fools gladly ....especially at Pro am/Charity Golf days and all that.....Most peeps get back what they give.....courtesy and respect...Did tell me off once ..a few years back....I looked up to him and said..YES Sir....Respect. Mind you a lot of The Lowe clan for sum reason do not like him....Like The Crouchey opposition really.....Funny that.
  4. Been away for a while...please bring me up to speed...What is a Lowe Luvvie and why are you NC and up and away usually called by this wierd description. PS..I am a Lawrie Luvvie Crouchey Luvvie MLT Luvvie ML and NC Luvvie..But especially a Saints Luvvie. Cheers:) All you Lowey Luvvies..I have really missed your RA RA..POM POM twirling Majorette style of posting...But not lets go there again girls :smt070
  5. My predictions are as good as my lottery results....I find it hard NOT to put Saints down for a win every game.....Hopefully they will show a little support to me soon...Like starting against Yeovil....COYRs.
  6. Well done Sir Lawrie ..Has given so much to Southampton, The club and the peeps of our great City. Also thanks for so many GREAT memories.
  7. Thomson another of our great youth players making the grade.....Very ...VERY fast young player..like Lallana and Paterson great players for a bright Saints future....Well done Thomson.
  8. I think you will find up and away with the clouds is on a Lowe planet and always has been.:smt070
  9. Ben Reeves better than Moly..
  10. Nice touch by all concerned..Brought a tear to my eye....Well done Baker and good luck to his other brother.
  11. I offered The three musketeers..Pulis, Molyneux and Forecast to my mate in Weymouth. He declined the offer as he states his pub team is in a very good standard league. Not sure they would get in THE Weymouth side at the mo and they will take anybody....Even Steve Claridge got a game the other day at about 45 years of age. Not good enough even for the reserve side...Ship em out now.
  12. Saints 2-1 .,..WINNERS at last....Saints better start winning sooooon.
  13. I guessed it at post 47...thought you were ignoring me.....He was a really good player and not really given much of a chance bar a few games.
  14. Tony Heaney
  15. Very worried re Holmes still.....No pace...even Kelvin and Bart outsprint him in training. No wonder Pardew is trying to bring in a winger with some pace. Sorry forgot to add ..even the groundsman is faster than Lee
  16. My guess.....Most England Youth/Under 18 caps.......Tony Heaney.....same team as Bobby Moore. This was my guess before.....
  17. Stand to be corrected but previously he has had leg injuries....Now it was stated that he has groin strain....Never sure about his speed but otherwise quite good in some areas of his game....Not so sure he would have so much time on the ball before being poleaxed in this league...Lallana needs to play down the middle supporting the striker/s..not out wide..again not a winger. Hammond looks good for the middle of midfield...Spiderman is another who is not suited to Div 1 but may excel with Hammond alongside him...Trotman looks the part for our defence..Lets hope so COYRs 3 points today...pleaseeee
  18. Reserves do not play very often AND he is injured again.....He has been out with different injuries for some time.....Even before his long injury spell he was not a speedsters...All I am suggesting is some games away might bring him back to match fitness...after he has recovered from injury that is.
  19. Slight exageration there me thinks....I always take my abacus to games and have only got to 36,243 and double checked it.:smt118
  20. You are right about Saga but it just does not happen for him or Razza come to that.....I believe Pearson would be good for both these players. Not so sure they would get the run in our side.
  21. Holmes, Mills and possibly Murty ..out injured.......Holmes has not played any football for a long time. Needs games away on loan when fit.
  22. Gradel..definitely and Dickov depending on his fitness...We need the fast winger and a jack in the box striker. Give Razza and Saga for Oakley, Gradel and Dickov.
  23. Sorry, my fellow posters regarding my ramblings above....I had a bad dream about Rupert and his next return..( still hope it is at Portsmifff) .. just had to get the frustration off my chest...It will not happen again..hopefully we will be told the whole story soooon.
  24. Regarding this poster, I have started to realise the silly little game he is playing.... He forgets who he is half the time.....Dangerous game with so many identities.:smt085.. As I have said so many times.....19 IS NOT a Saints supporter and never has been. His tone throughout the MLT thread proves what sort of person he is..
  25. FF..I think you will find many of the Directors/Board members/fans/shareholders knew perfectly well the problem and many other problems regarding Lowe....This man had total control over a large section of the group mentioned. Whenever he was in the chair or standing in the wings planning his eventual return, No one seemed able or had the desire to challenge him.....WHY? At all times he had Askham and crew in his palm of his hand and they let him destroy this club whilst turning a blind eye.....AT SOMETIME DURING HIS TENURE, IT MUST HAVE DAWNED ON THEM.... what.... VERY LITTLE ABILITY RUPERT HAD... IN ALL AREAS. To play around with TV money did not require ability as Rupert proved time and time again....HE just kept spending it..like most posters on here could have done.....The control over this group, which then included Wilde( Who appeared to panic after his period of total incompetence whilst leading the club and the loss of what little money he had left....He didn't have a lot in the first place) must be knowledge/info re past deals/money or ......? is my view. The reverse takeover and the shady business with the retirement homes etc is somewhere at the core of the history of his control..There is NO evidence in my opinion, that he is successful at running top Corporate Companies etc.. In any other business you would attempt to pull the plug and rid your company of an incompetent leader.....Mind you we are talking City gents in the main AND we know the problems they have caused in recent times..FINGERS IN THE TILL AND TOTAL INCOMPETENCE IN MOST CASES AT THAT HIGHER LEVEL....AND how they support buffoons even when the company is fast disappearing into oblivion....Charlatans the lot of them. COYRs
