If it helps...I have Morgan in my Saints team of the week (alongside Hammo, after his performance at Pompey) My son (adult) has always said that Spiderman is real class....I am being won over:D 3 points against Brizzle and 3-0 or 4-0 and we will all be happy:)

Having had idiots on this forum, hitting me with their handbags, because of my alleged favouring of Hammond over Spiderman. More often than not Morgan flattered to deceive and has owed us big time for a long time...Now maybe he will show this high level that we deserve from such a talent.. In other words, I have always said the lad has talent but failed to show it in many games.... Hammond and Cork play very well together as did Cork and Morgan yesterday.....Hurrah! Hurah!...... Common denominator for me everytime is Mr CORK....... But we all know now, more often than not that the three Musketeeeeers in the middle together does not quite work.... Another major factor against Palace, was the width , determination and unpredictability that De Ridder , with his speed, gave us and kept the left side of the Palace defence on their toes....Still think ..Steeeve will be a star:) So before you, Roger, Avenue Saint, window cleaner and a few others start hitting fellow fans with your handbags:rolleyes: Remember Saints fans all want the same end product.....Nigel picking a winning side...Which sometimes will be a combination of 2 from 3 in the midfield.....Whatever Avenue Saint says about my love affair with Hammond.... At this time of the year:rolleyes: I am puzzled that the fair minded amongst this forum, have not suggested , we pass the bucket around at the Palace game.... I have a bucket with a BIG HOLE... in the bottom... and suggest that this be the only one used to make counting the pennies easier. Love Wayne Bridge to death and his father is a Southampton nut... But the whole financial package would not allow for a transfer to Saints.... Unless City paid him off and gave him a free transfer and or took Dickson and Holmes in part exchange. AND then we got Wayne match fit......he would help us win this league.. Which we are going to win anyway if NA sorts out our team selection...starting with the Palace game... WIFM FORGOT TO MENTION..........WOULD HAVE HIM BACK NOW........

We will have to agree to disagree regarding some of our players. I see Morgan as a squad player only at this stage and have not seen any significant imput from him in helping us win games to date. Whereas the combination of Cork and Hammond is what I think makes the team more likely to win games with the interaction with the likes of Lambert , Lallana and Chappers. Peeps on here think it is a personal thing with MS, on my part.. but totally untrue.....Just do not see him as a defensive lynchpin or the so called cog/link up player that some advocate.... Yes he has potential and the manager has brought him into the side in this diamond formation recently.....but he has not shown an aptitude for right side midfielder or at the point, supporting Lambert. We need to win games again and Morgan is not the answer....De Ridder if given a chance will score and make goals and with the others get us back on the winning trail.....Chappers and Connolly in the same vain..but Morgan out the side would not be missed. Personal choice on how I see the side and normally I would accept Nigel getting it right most of the time....but Morgan in the side..not for me and the set up recently has cost us a lot of points. But whoever is in the side will get my support and encouragement......but please NA get it right against Palace and thereafter. All the above is personal opinion and not to be taken to seriously... Cause you all know, I am only second best coach in the world behind NA:rolleyes:

I am also a Chappers fan ..but would think last 20/25 mins to bring up to speed ie match fitness Therefore I would start De Ridder and abandon the Morgan experiment ie Cork and Hammond in the middle and Morgan last 20 mins..depending.. I am always wary of putting a player straight back in after injury..but then NA is a better judge than me.... WIFM

Still think he will be a star for us... Start him on the right of four against Palace....Give him a chance and he will repay us in full.. WIFM

No doubt in my mind that we will beat Palace and go on another long sequence of wins.. Champions.....Easy WIFM
