You know the one - buy one get one free, buy one get one free. Phone ?????? noooowwwww! So, get two from them and sell one for £360. Result - one free window!! This might not work though. And the windows are probably carp, I wouldn't trust that bloke that does the ad as far as I could spit.

Who was sitting next to Pardew at Farnborough game?

I thought that - and they want to offload Darren Bent. Well we have money now don't we? Can't see ML splashing out more for one player than the entire club though! At least, not yet. -
Is that Peter Noone from Herman's Hermits? Isn't he a bit old?

Oh dear I saw lots of referees working at CCC level last season. I'm sure if AP wants you to show the young uns to take a "throw on" ?? properly "and that sort of thing" he'll be in touch. FFS

I've heard that somewhere before.

But not possible apparently batting fourth instead of third. History is bunk. It shouldn't be possible for a 59 year old to finish 2nd in the Open. Hope for me yet!

If England don't get a wicket before lunch I reckon the Aussies will be on about 400-5. In that case the only result it won't be will be a draw - unless the weather becomes a factor. IF we had enforced the follow-on and Australia had got 500 in their second innings ( as someone said as their worst case scenario) say by about tea today, it would have left us 4 sessions to score 290 for the win with 10 wickets standing. Still a better position than we are actually in now.
-
The Aussies only need 209 more runs to win with 5 wickets left. They've got all bloody day tomorrow to get them can take their time and won't be taking any chances. I don't care about the fact that historically a team chasing big totals to win in a 4th innings don't make it, the maths say to score 522 runs in 190-odd overs is possible, especially for a team like Australia. That ridiculous decision by Strauss not to enforce the follow-on (ensuring a nailed-on draw at minimum) could well come back to haunt us. Pillock And the declaration was too early - an hour before lunch today was the time to do it - or even at lunch. Having said all that I think we'll still win - but it should have been so much easier.

Buy a season ticket and you'll be guaranteed one!

It seems to me that 99% of both Dutch and Swiss people speak excellent English. -
It's a pity he didn't use some of his wealth to buy you a decent education.

I'm glad you think so.

My dad had a season ticket in the East Stand at the Dell for years and years. Front row centre. When he was away I used to scrounge his ticket, but usually he'd give me a lift to the Dell and I'd spend 2/3d to go in the boys in the Milton. Then I'd meet him back at the car in someone's drive in Bedford Place (I never did find out who that was) But the thing is, in the late 40's every other Saturday he'd go down to Pompey and quite happily watch them. It wasn't so intense in those days - it was friendly rivalry - That's all. And it should be now. I know I'll get slated for this - but it's what I think.

"Inextricably" seems to have become "intrinsically" on this forum. I sometimes wonder if some of my fellow posters speak English at all. Maybe they're Swiss.

I have decided NOT to visit this forum until a deal has been announced in the main media. I have wasted the last few years of my life waiting for positive news which never comes. Enough is enough.

I pointed this out yesterday - he just won't shut up about Lowe.

Fair enough - must be hard work though. And strangely makes it very difficult to read.
