I remember reading about this group in the athletic (I just checked and it was from August 2020). The article states they had 2 years to close a deal. Interesting that Dan Sheldon said the interested parties have been around for a while, plus @hypochondriac mentioning US interest… It’s probably not them, but interesting.

Good! The reason I say this is because I was once told the number of kids we were going to announce last summer and 1 of them was Max Alleyne — think it was one of those “deals agreed in principle” but not signed - then City came in.

Both have featured for the U18’s a fair bit this season… fingers-crossed neither get pinched before signing scholarships.

It’s an exciting link, but anything that’s basically: “if the takeover happens” is a bit wishy-washy.

Towards the end of the important month of December re: Takeover talks. Cant imagine omicron scenario has helped things when there has been reports that the Covid situation scuppered at least 1 deal.

Obvious to say, but Djenepo / Long / Walcott as subs today shows where we’re weak.

I'd go back to the Stephens/Salisu combo from earlier in the season.
