  1. Very true. TBF, just beating City would be amazing in itself.
  2. Hard to call it an exclusive when all names attached have been linked prior, but all the names are very “Saintsy”.
  3. We might be looking for a bit of a striker re-build if Broja / Long / Arma all depart.
  4. In positive news, Babic is back in training photos today.
  5. Midfield / Forward players, especially: Doyle / Ballard / Edwards / Dibling / Morgan / Pearce * *MLG notes: Yes, I know they all can’t play together & that there are injury concerns over some of them. —— (Good article on a lot of the squad: https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/20146556.saints-u18s-hoping-take-manchester-city-playoff/ )
  6. Ornstein also says Benfica looking at him to replace Darwin Nunez, too.
  7. Probably right. Ironically, Angus Gunn is a good benchmark for ££‘s value re: a City keeper. As an aside, I wonder if Fraser will go for games? or will he go for an archetypal Summer move to a City/Chelsea to warm the bench? (Or not even be on the bench as 3rd choice)
  8. Agree with all this. The key to this idea is that the “new, young” GK needs to be bloody good. I’ve said this before, but the City lad is (in theory) the right type - talented, ambitious and, realistically, wouldn’t be far from playing games.
  9. The great goalkeeping purge continues… Good spot, MLG. He needs to play games. Also, SEVEN years?!
  10. Cancelled Convict Colony 😭
  11. Basically matches my memory: “Scottish defender”.
  12. I feel like he’s been linked for several seasons.
  13. Logical move, this one.
  14. Because the championship produces players of identical quality…

  16. To me, the Forster going & us wanting a young no.2 feels like something we’d do. The City keeper certainly fits the profile. A prem move for him, but not so far down the squad that he’d never play.
  17. Aside from the main part of it re: Ralph
  18. "Ralph Hasenhuttl still has the backing of the Southampton hierarchy despite increasing fan pressure on his position as manager... with the Austrian set to be backed in the transfer market this summer to overhaul his Saints squad" https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10802693/Ralph-Hasenhuttl-backing-Southampton-hierarchy.html
