  1. SSN: Southampton have rejected loan proposals from four Premier League clubs for striker Charlie Austin, according to Sky sources. Something will only happen if it’s a permanent transfer.
  2. We're looking down the back of the sofa for some cash whilst there's hope we're going to loan a striker who has a £38m release clause.
  3. @reluctantnicko: SOUTHAMPTON. Still want 10m for Charlie Austin.

But also, Burnley are £8m richer if Vokes leaves.

    Che Adams

SSN: Burnley have had a second bid turned down by Birmingham City for striker Che Adams.
  7. Exactly. He's not even in the shop window. I thought he was going to play for the U23's but even that's not happened.
  8. *Bump*
  9. From Summer 2017. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2730953-inside-transfer-deadline-day-access-all-areas-at-sheffield-united
  10. Have you seen the Sheff Utd one from a few years ago... That was brilliant.
  11. Sounds like we'll be bringing one in at least.... As teases go, that's decent.
  12. @AdamBlackmore: #saintsfc manager Ralph Hasenhüttl says this morning he is happy now with the size of the squad - said he doesn’t need or want to sell Charlie Austin - but of its a case of one in one out that suits all parties then maybe .......so maybe Austin out and Adams possible still
  13. @alex_crook: #saintsfc manager Ralph Hasenhuttl on his #DeadlineDay hopes 'On the last day there are always a few options that pop up and a chance for us to get an interesting player. We are still busy working on a few things.' @talkSPORT
  14. Ralph: No new injuries for Burnley trip.
  15. Top write-up.
  16. It's ALMOST a situation where you could see them taking a punt on somebody...
  17. CARDIFF HOPE TO MAKE TWO SIGNINGS Our man James Cole is at Cardiff City's training ground with the club hoping to make at least two signings on Deadline Day. "They have been talking with Monaco about Almamy Toure, the right-back. That has gone quiet and is looking less likely. "They want a midfielder and they are being linked with strikers. "Charlie Austin is the latest, but Cardiff already have two players on loan from English clubs, which is the limit. So any move from an English club would have to be permanent. It’s more likely they bring in a player from overseas and that will be a loan."
  18. If only it was that easy.
  19. Vokes medical at Stoke.
  20. SSN: Peter Crouch is en-route to Burnley for a medical with Sam Vokes on his way to Stoke with a view to a permanent signing, report Sky sources.
  21. Unusual move. Maybe MK Dons paid a little more. As stevy777_x said, they are a league down as well (but towards the top of the table). Tisdale is a really good coach though. I'm half expecting Sims to go out as well today.
  22. Just arming a rival with goals sounds ridiculous. Worked with Warnock at QPR & they def need a striker who's available so it makes sense from their perspective.
  23. Would be great if true.
  24. Cardiff getting a few mentions in the media - Nothing concrete though. That'd be risky from our perspective.
  25. If we're struggling to bid for a right back & Che Adams, I'll be amazed if we can get this one done.
