SSN: Southampton have rejected loan proposals from four Premier League clubs for striker Charlie Austin, according to Sky sources. Something will only happen if it’s a permanent transfer.

We're looking down the back of the sofa for some cash whilst there's hope we're going to loan a striker who has a £38m release clause.

Unusual move. Maybe MK Dons paid a little more. As stevy777_x said, they are a league down as well (but towards the top of the table). Tisdale is a really good coach though. I'm half expecting Sims to go out as well today.

Just arming a rival with goals sounds ridiculous. Worked with Warnock at QPR & they def need a striker who's available so it makes sense from their perspective.
