Pretty sure Puel didn't rate Austin either as he couldn't play as a split striker when we were trialling the diamond. IIRC, Claude played Austin in the early Europa match at St Mary's, think Austin got 2 goals (& I think he stayed as our No.1 striker until he got injured). Wasn't it the game where Charlie had to fight Tadic for the penalty?
