  1. Bad hamstring injury then....
  2. Wowsers. £18m in today's market is good for Dembele. Fortunately our recruiters feel Shane Long will be good enough for this season.
  3. Barca normally bodge their defensive signings or play midfielders at the back. Can't see them outbidding any of the English suitors.

  5. Could we have 10 of their players in exchange? Time will tell, but January isn't the best time to be trying to re-invest the money IMO.
  6. Wouldn't have thought so, because it's not Les who's not picked him for 2 games in a row.
  7. If we go from the noises coming out of Liverpool last summer, money should be no issue for them, whilst City "won't be held to ransom".
  8. @AdamBlackmore: Pellegrino on whether Van Dijk’s omission today was linked with a move away in January: “Virgil, we know there will be a lot of speculation about him he's important player but I can't say anything right now.”
  9. @solentsport: Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino has confirmed that Virgil Van Dijk was fit for selection today and didn't miss out through injury... #SaintsFC
  10. Woeful. Can't score enough to win games & too weak at the back. I have no faith in the recruiters.
  11. Ignore me! He is!
  12. Peter Bosz must be on their list, surely?

  14. A change of league is most likely.
  15. Imagine if he isn't the problem and this makes us worse (!)
  16. I saw this mentioned a few days ago. I think Allsorts posted it.
  17. SSN: Swansea City are interested in talking to Ronald Koeman and Slaven Bilic over replacing Paul Clement, according to Sky sources. We understand Tony Pulis is not a candidate the club are pursuing.
  18. This. Very much similar to us (only we've had longer without addressing the situation).
  19. Probably his right foot.
  20. We seem lightyears behind other teams in regards to bringing in youth talent from abroad.
  21. No, he played for the U18's the other day in the FA Youth cup.
  22. Hesketh & Sims have been the most advanced for a while, but both hit with bad injuries. Sims has the thing I always look for in that you can tell they are far too good for that level last season. Michael Obafemi scored a hat-trick the other week & looks lightning quick, so I'll be keeping tabs on how he develops. On a side-note. Do most youth academy players pick up as many serious injuries as we tend to get?
  23. I imagine it will turn toxic if we don't win.
