  1. Austin injured according to MP.
  2. Got to have a chance of scoring from a set piece with JWP swinging it towards our centre-backs.
  3. Time to try & break the Tadic / Boufal curse of not playing well with them both in the team.
  4. Fortunately he doesn't have a World Cup to worry about missing out on
  5. Such is the problem of being a replacement for someone who's still at the club. He will get more game time of MP switches to his talked about 3 at the back (although I don't blame him for not trying it after the Wolves debacle)
  6. Point taken, but our lack of goals is seemingly endemic.
  7. No Davo?!
  8. Going to be a very difficult game today. Brighton are a big, incredibly well drilled side. Will be hard to score against & pose us big problems from set pieces as their centre-halves are units. Plus they will be full of confidence after their 3-0 away win last time out.

    Lemina!

International break might come at about the right time then!
  10. Scored again today. But sent off too!
  11. Shows the simplicity of having a big guy up front. Simple flick on from Lukaku from a De Gea goal kick.
  12. 1-0 Utd. Martial scored.
  13. Romeu would have to do the work of 3 men in the middle
  14. Assuming this is accurate, quite an interesting stat: @MC_of_A: Premier League pressing stats, as mentioned on @DoublePivotPod. Liverpool no longer leading the way. (Were #1 by a good margin last year).
  15. I think so too. He will have way better forward options than he had here.

  17. TUCHEL HASN'T RULED OUT EVERTON Ex-Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel hasn’t ruled out the option of becoming the new Everton manager if he’s approached, SSN understands. Tuchel left the Bundesliga club in May, just days after winning Germany’s domestic cup final, and has said publicly that he wants to manage in the Premier League in the future. However, we’ve been told that up til now, he’s been reluctant to consider any club that isn’t playing in the Champions League. Everton has yet to draw up a shortlist of candidates for the role, but Tuchel’s odds of taking over at Goodison Park have been slashed - he’s currently the 5-1 second favourite behind Sean Dyche for the job.

  19. A brilliant read, as always. (Nice to read about a win too!)
  20. At least those two get games.... Poor Luke Shaw....
  21. His compensation is though.
  22. Has Boufal scored for us with Tadic on the pitch?
  23. Sounds like the perfect game for a WBA set-piece winner. PLEASE WIN SAINTS!
  24. We dont scout South America.
  25. Did you see the U23's the other night, LeG?
