  1. It's not the Charlie Austin news thread.
  2. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/qpr-listed-favourites-re-sign-13778386
  3. Probably a good move. Woefully under performing with the players they have: Vardy / Okazaki / Slimani / Iheancho means you just have every kind of striker at your disposal. Demarai Gray on the bench too. Controversial, but I think Big Sam would do a very good job up there.
  4. I didn't watch the 2nd half so missed this. Anyone else rate him?
  5. Interesting stat on MNF that 9 of our starters vs Newcastle played international football during the break. Only 2 of Newcastle's starting XI did.
  6. 3-0 McQueen
  7. FINALLY! We are using the players that haven't featured for the first team who need minutes.
  8. Good article this, and in goes full meta by naming this thread within it. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/southampton-latest-news-rumours-mauricio-pellegrino-premier-league-claude-puel-les-reed-a8003496.html
  9. Former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel is being lined up as the new manager of Guangzhou Evergrande. Tuchel, who has been heavily linked with the Bayern Munich managerial position, is tipped to follow Roger Schmidt and Felix Magath to the Chinese Super League. (Kicker)

    Lemina!

His sale will likely help find our promotion push next season
  11. Wait a bit & Ronald will come back & buy us a striker with all the compensation he gets from Dugout Utd.
  12. He's currently more Pepe Mel than Mauricio Pochettino.
  13. Seems better playing as a single pivot. (Or maybe Puel's a better coach?)
  14. Why. So. Slow.
  15. Strikers failing to hold up the ball stat = 100%
  16. Newcastle have looked more dangerous with 1 attack than we have with about 80% possession.
  17. Did Tuchel have numerous meetings with Reed?
  18. It never left
  19. How many did Newcastle have away on international duty? Merino / Shelvey / Lascelles / Joselu weren't. I think they will be fresher than us.
  20. Indeed. The powers that be thought he was though. Incredible they thought that it wasn't the playing personnel. Optimism at its very best.
  21. Decent article: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/oct/14/mauricio-pellegrino-attack-stuttering-southampton
  22. The thing that stood out for me whilst watching was how much I hate that awful maroon training top.

  24. Hip injury, apparently.
  25. Newcastle are a good side from what I've seen. Can't see us winning as we just can't score goals at home (or anywhere else)
