PELLEGRINI IN PALACE TALKS Crystal Palace have held talks with former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini about their vacant position at Selhurst Park, according to Sky sources. Steve Parish has been frustrated in his attempts to find a successor to Sam Allardyce, who resigned last month after keeping the club in the Premier League. Pellegrini was appointed head coach at Hebei China Fortune last August but we understand he has always been keen on a return to English football.

EVERTON AGREE £30m WITH SUNDERLAND FOR PICKFORD Everton have agreed a fee totalling £30m with Sunderland for goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. The Merseysiders had an opening bid knocked back last week, but have come back in with another which relegated Sunderland have accepted. We understand the £30m will include a number of add-ons over the course of a long-term contract. Pickford is currently on international duty in Poland with England U21s and will undergo a medical upon his return.
