Wouldn't surprise me if they are interested as I remember reading that they wanted to try and focus on bringing in ready-made players with Prem experience. Also not difficult to imagine that after losing Payet, they would have crunched some numbers and Tadic would likely figure very high in the "chances created" & "assists" categories.

I think this would always be the case. The record is £50m isn't it? I saw Maguire was linked to Everton/Spurs yesterday for £22m (& he only has a year left on his contract!) I think we should hold out for £60m the way this window is going.

If he's going to go, I sincerely hope it's to a team that pays silly money. I don't really want another slow drip-feed process of Liverpool bidding low, then re-bidding a tiny bit higher etc. You know the drill.
