BOSZ IN AT DORTMUND Borussia Dortmund are expected to announce today that Peter Bosz is their new head coach. Bosz has been the Ajax manager for just one season. They finished second in the league – one point behind Feyenoord – and were beaten in the Europa league final by Manchester United. Bosz will replace Thomas Tuchel, who left Dortmund last week after winning the German Cup final.

He better not go for any less than £30m.

BERTRAND EDGES TO CITY MOVE Manchester City have made a significant step closer in their pursuit of England left-back Ryan Bertrand after Monaco slapped a £40m price tag on Benjamin Mendy. Sky Sports News HQ understands that Bertrand, along with his fellow England full back Kyle Walker, could be Manchester City players in less than a fortnight. SSNHQ reported in April that Bertrand and Walker were both on City’s top five list of targets in the forthcoming summer window – and we understand some aspects of the deal for Bertrand have already been agreed. The deal would see the full back more than double the £55,000 a week he’s presently on at St Mary’s.

Liverpool are probably so desperate for VvD, we could probably get them to supplement his wages. It's just posturing. Les & Ralph probably take turns every year. We just say that stuff to ensure we get top dollar. I have no idea. People need to make a mental note of a typical summer for us, and then know it will happen the following season. It's the same every year.

Liverpool will no doubt be pushing him forward as leverage. My main hope is that VvD carries himself correctly through this - No tantrums or strops, please.

Tottenham, Manchester United and Everton are showing interest in Bolton Wanderers prospect Max Broughton. The 16-year-old midfielder has been impressing playing for Bolton's U18s and has earned recognition from England at youth level. Broughton initially impressed Bolton on trial in October 2014 after being spotted playing for local side Rossendale United and then signed scholarship forms in December 2015. Southampton have also expressed interest in the teenager.
