I like it! We normally like to promote from within, but I can't think of anyone onboard who is currently CEO-worthy.

It must be tighter now. They allowed the chicken brothers at Blackburn through, Cellino @ Leeds & somebody who didn't exist at Portsmouth.

As a general rule of thumb, I tend to ignore what players say towards the end of the season re: staying or leaving. I'm awaiting K, Billy or Guan's list of players that want out as soon as the season ends

No idea if Rogers leaving has anything to do with prospective takeover, but they would almost certainly put their own Chief Exec in place.

If the Telegraph article was by Sam Wallace or Jeremy Wilson, I'd certainly think it had some truth to it. Less so Matt Law. He normally focuses on London clubs.

Interesting that after the talk of alledged dodgy Lander-stuff that we haven't put a positive spin piece since.

We still had the "Osvaldo" filters saved whilst searching for him. TBF, a google search told me he was talented but had attitude last summer.

It's somewhat amazing that the guy who created one of the great central midfield's in Vieira / Petit is so blind to what they've lacked.

I think he will go. Seems a shame when he's done so well. He should get a decent career for himself though. Pleased for him.
