The remarkable thing about the Caceres signing was that a 60+ cap, ex-Barca & Juventus player lost out on a starting place to an academy player* in Stephens. * yes, I know he was really a Plymouth academy player.

Me too. Primarily because they aren't big payers.

This is how we generate ££ for signings though. I'm not sure we sign players without selling. I'm fine with it, but we just look like plebs every summer saying we won't sell

Always starts off looking great for us in Pre-season, then drops. He was very good at Barnsley. Where did he nearly join in the January window but for injury? Was it Bristol City? He just needs to make sure he gets the right move.

He's very impressive. Looks like he could still DAJFU too. Prefer Wagner's style of play though.

What's happening with Emery & Tuchel? Are both still on shaky ground?
