What's he been like this season? I've seen him look both good & woeful in different games. At least Gueye's stats stood out.

We always "want" to keep the players... but this is before the bids and before the player says he wants to go.

I'll only believe he's staying if he signs a new contract.

I'd try to extend his deal and then send him to a promotion chasing championship side.

I believe it was reported that they were turned down. Whether they were or not is another matter. There doesn't seem to be much positive spin from Lander.

I like it! We normally like to promote from within, but I can't think of anyone onboard who is currently CEO-worthy.

It must be tighter now. They allowed the chicken brothers at Blackburn through, Cellino @ Leeds & somebody who didn't exist at Portsmouth.

Imagine if Lander can't pass the FPPT, when you consider some of the people that have breezed through it.

As a general rule of thumb, I tend to ignore what players say towards the end of the season re: staying or leaving. I'm awaiting K, Billy or Guan's list of players that want out as soon as the season ends

No idea if Rogers leaving has anything to do with prospective takeover, but they would almost certainly put their own Chief Exec in place.
