Chris Wise @chriswisey #saintsfc boss Claude Puel tells me that Dusan Tadic can't train at present because nose injury is too painful. He broke it in two places.
-
If he does, I fully expect the Liverpool Echo to be all over it! Something like: "We understand the player has a release clause of £"X"m & is understood to have his heart set on a move to Anfield"

Police Investigations into historical interference with young players

Chelsea now too. -
I won't believe it until I see it on Noah Liebherr's Instagram
-
With Palace's record at defending set pieces, I'd rather JWP plays at Selhurst.
-
I'm still amazed nobody bid in the summer. We've sold a lot of players over the years, but Virgil is somebody I could literally see just about every big club wanting.

Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel: "It's an important game. It's an opportunity to try to win something. All my squad is ambitious." #saintsfc Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel: "The last game against #EFC was a fantastic game, with good intensity and a good physical level." #saintsfc Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel: "Every time we can rotate the team and keep the same philosophy. #Arsenal are the same. It will be a good game of football." #saintsfc Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel: "It's important to continue to develop young players, and not just from the academy, but the whole team – every player." #saintsfc Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel on #SaintsFC's @VirgilvDijk: "He has the ability to become one of the five or six best defenders in the world." Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel: "Do we have the squad to win this competition? Yes. But we must win tomorrow and every game is very difficult." #saintsfc Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC Puel says Dušan Tadić and @Mattytargett remain out, while @StevenDavis8 and Sofiane Boufal are available for the trip to #Arsenal. #saintsfc

A terrible tragedy.
-
I reckon he will be good for the Europa match.
-
Oh sh*t, really?!

Neil Taylor.
-
Gardos, Isgrove, Olomola all starting for U23's tonight, so none will be involved in Wednesday.

Didn't know that. Very interesting. Remy is doubtful & Wickham will definitely miss the game on Saturday too. Pencil him (lightly) in for the Europa game next week?
-
The funniest thing about their summer was that for all their "we will spend £100m net" talk, they made a -£5m spend I expect them to vomit money out in January to try and course-correct themselves. (Semedo / Depay / Schneiderlin etc.)
-
When is he going to nail one of these long-distance scorchers he's been threatening?
-
I just don't see Austin / Redmond playing. (If we stick the rotation policy)
-
Virgil has been immense with us and I hope he stays for an extra season, but when/if the big clubs come in, without a shadow of a doubt, we should be a looking at £60m.
-
I'm not sure if Claude will go like he did against Sunderland in the last round with all of Reed, Stephens AND Isgrove... But I reckon it could be something like this: ------------Forster------------ Martina Fonte Yoshida McQueen -------------Reed------------- -------Clasie----Davis------- ------------Boufal----------- --------Long---J-Rod------- - Pretty sure Virgil, JWP, Hojbjerg, Redmond will be rotated out. - Bertrand & Cedric will likely be cycled out and utilized on Saturday. - Assuming Davis & Tadic are both ready to go. - Romeu could easily play again though.
-
LOL! Don't think so.
-
It's very possible. Although after that game last night, the 1st thing I thought was that he should be the 1st name on the team sheet vs Hapoel Be'er Sheva next Thursday.
-
Just for reference: Arsenal: Martinez, Jenkinson, Holding, Gabriel, Gibbs, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Lucas Perez. Subs: Giroud, Bielik, Zelalem, Macey, Sheaf, Willock, Bola.
-
Interestingly, to back up what you've said about the kids not liking Ronald was a tweet earlier by Simon Peach who re-tweeted a chap who I assume is Sam McQueen's dad: "So glad @RonaldKoeman left"

Save JWP for set pieces on Saturday. Palace woeful at defending them.
