The thing about Wimmer is he only signed a new 5 year deal with Spuds a few months ago. Now whilst he may have fallen out of favour, he would surely cost more than the rumoured 6 million.

I think it's safe to assume we never wanted to extend his deal (hence us "just" offering him a pay-rise rather than an extension). He rejected that. So I'm not really surprised the club haven't changed their tune.

Very likely we haven't "Agreed to sell". But you don't turn down a big pay rise without a good reason.
