Well this is true. Looking positively, with Long up front, we *should* have more pace & movement up front. I really hope Tadic & Boufal both start as we are much more likely to create something out of nothing with those 2 playing. Could really do with nailing a couple of set piece goals tomorrow to ease the burden on our general play.

What we do every season is a minor miracle. Look at Leicester: Lose just one of their best players and they go from 1st to 16th.

Our tactics should be to defend as well as we can, and hope that 1 of the 25 chances Tadic & Boufal create bounces in off a defender.

The irony about Redmond is... Whilst he never looked great as a striker, he looks better there than he does as a winger.

Jenas on BT sport said it happened to him (Austin) before at QPR where he'd dislocate his shoulder and could pop it back in during half time. Think he had surgery on it some time ago too.

It was about 30 minutes in to tonight that I looked at the clock... Crowd was quiet, players were edgy, passes going astray. I just had a feeling it was going to be one of those sh*t Europa performances. Very worrying, as the crowd was electric at the start.
