Stanciu looks quality but I always figured it would be one or the other with Boufal (especially if we are sticking with the diamond). It will surely be a striker next if Jay is heading out on loan.

WEST HAM CLOSE ON FERNANDES Sky sources are telling us that West Ham have agreed to sign Edimilson Fernandes from FC Sion for a fee of around £5.5m. He’s due for a medical later today. The 20-year-old is an attacking midfielder and is the cousin of the former Manchester City midfielder Gelson Fernandes. He came through the youth system with the Swiss club and has made 48 first team appearances.

Agree. We know he was coming out of contract but in today's market, it was nothing. One thing Spurs & Liverpool are very good at is getting top dollar for players they don't want.

Sunderland play in the league cup tonight, so will be interesting to see what sort of side they put out.
