Didn't Nice under Puel press quite high up the pitch?
Assuming Watford do play 3 at the back at the weekend, and try and build it from the back, we might be able to get some joy winning the ball high up the pitch.
It just seems like such a waste of last season. I can't imagine prospective new owners can be pleased with being shut out whilst the current owners that want to leave start spending money on players.
(Assuming they do!)
I recall one of our ITK friends reported that Osvaldo was a 'gift' for Poch & that funds for a centre-back went into that deal (hence us having to get Vegard Forren instead).
It's arguable that didn't work out so well on either front
