  1. Imagine Liverpool will bid.
  2. All we can say is we've probably got the best coaching staff to know if a player from Holland can DAJFU. It does seem like a no-brainer though.
  3. I would be (but then I'm naturally pessimistic). I'm happy with what we have and how we do things - The last thing we need is a Vincent Tan-type turning up, sacking Les Reed and putting his son's mate in to replace him.
  4. Oh no! Absolutely gutted for him.
  5. Going for a scan today. Fingers-crossed it's not serious. http://www.crewealex.net/news/article/seager-to-go-for-scan-today-2959594.aspx?

  7. Was it really 17 years ago?! Must've been the early days of the Internet. I think I can remember seeing that we'd taken some Latvian striker, recommended to us by Gary Johnson (who was Latvia manager coach at the time?) on trial. Think he played in a reserve or behind closed doors friendly, scored a hat-trick and we signed him straight up. The rest is history.
  8. Funny how we were linked with both him & Kante.
  9. Will be very tough. They are unbeaten in 10 games. (4 wins, 6 draws) & they are starting to score goals and hitting their groove. Will miss Big Vic too. Would def play Mané as they hate playing against him.
  10. Yes please. http://m.goal.com/s/en/news/1686/eredivisie/2016/02/13/20137732/as-good-as-cesc-and-oscar-but-hakim-ziyech-deserves-more-than-to-?utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2FALiJVucg9Q
  11. Good news is we have some serious attacking options on the bench.
  12. Romeu booked. Please don't get sent off!
  13. Looks like January deals for Sunderland paying dividends.
  14. JWP in there I guess. Great in regards to set pieces though. Let's see how he does defensively. Hell of a bench today!
  15. 1-1 at half time Martial.
  16. Sunderland 1 up vs Man Utd Khazri. Money well spent so far on him for Sunderland.
  17. Yeah, a draw probably most likely. Watched highlights from their last game and they look a real threat from set-pieces (Largely due to Sigurdsson's delivery). However, they look dodgy as f*ck defending set-plays. Wouldn't mind seeing JWP fizz a few corners into the box. Might be some joy for Fonte/Virgil in there.
  18. +1 (or is that +2?) It's crazy how he's a sub so often. Another example of moving too early and not developing.
  19. CITY INTERESTED? http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/man-utd/transfer-talk/news/report-man-city-join-sadio-mane-hunt_265931.html
  20. Watched highlights of their game vs Palace. Everything goes through Sigurdsson - he has fantastic dead-ball delivery. They played Cork & Britton in their engine room which we should be able to match like for like with Romeu & Clasie. They've picked up under the new guy, but it's a good chance to keep our run going.
  21. Yeah, hopefully Davis will be back for the weekend & it will be a straight pick between JWP or Clasie to partner Romeu. Harrison Reed to get promoted to the bench maybe? Swansea aren't overly physical in central midfield really, but feel we will need somebody to shadow Gylfi Sigurdsson.
  22. Well I think he's going to get a run of 5 games at least - so we shall see.

  24. ‏@SUFCRootsHall: 90' HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM MCQUEEN! (3-0) #Southend Nice one Sam
  25. Could we get overrun in midfield? Assume Mane is in the No.10 position?
