Certainly remember a Telegraph article stating that we see Spurs as a rival, so wouldn't sell to them. With that said, his contract status probably negates that. If we can get back what we paid for him, I'd say we would be doing alright.

Has been a great player for us. Bumps along the way, but we've been lucky to keep him for 3 seasons in today's climate. Will leave a big gap in midfield when he goes. At his best, he's been immense for us.

Isgrove played today as Barnsley booked a League One play-off spot. Coupled with winning the JPT, it's been a good move for him.

I would assume that this "new direction" is part of the "5 year plan" we've heard about. I believe Ron has discussed this 5 year plan with the board. Maybe it's to focus on bringing through young players? Maybe it's more investment? Who knows. Time will tell.
