  1. I'd agree with this. Fingers-crossed he keeps his head on like he did last summer when the stories start up in January. Could be worth a fortune next summer - Especially with the new TV ££'s kicking in.
  2. That's quality!
  3. This is neither here or there but speaking about their squad, I saw Antonio was linked with Derby -- I'd completely forgotten he'd signed for West Ham.
  4. They've been linked with a few already: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/transfernews/article-3310443/Manchester-United-eye-Riyad-Mahrez-Felipe-Anderson-Sadio-Mane-Louis-van-Gaal-keen-adding-winger-January.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
  5. ^ I can almost smell the links in January already.
  6. Lingard looked good for United yesterday. Keeping Depay out the team. Ask for £30m plus Depay when United come back in for Mane
  7. Borini on for 2nd half.
  8. Defoe is destined to come on and score the winner.
  9. Is a midfield trio of Clasie/JWP/S.Davis too small or not? We shall see that question answered today.
  10. Sunderland AFC ‏@SunderlandAFC Sunderland XI v Southampton: Pantilimon, Jones, Kaboul ©, Coates, Yedlin, M’Vila, Gomez, Toivonen, Johnson, Watmore, Fletcher. Sunderland AFC ‏@SunderlandAFC Subs: Mannone, van Aanholt, Brown, Rodwell, Borini, Lens, Defoe.
  11. Impressive.
  12. I don't like moany pessimistic words, Chris. But they are very apt when it comes to Sunderland away.
  13. Fabio Borini, Ola Toivonen, Younes Kaboul and John O'Shea are all in contention for Saturday's clash against Southampton, but Lee Cattermole has been ruled out. The quartet of Borini (ankle), O'Shea (hamstring), Toivonen and Kaboul (both groin) missed last weekend's defeat at Everton through injury after none were able to play a part in training. But all four trained at the Stadium of Light today and could return for this weekend's visit of Southampton, as Sunderland bid for a second successive home victory. However, midfielder Cattermole will miss out after he was forced off against Everton with a groin problem which had been troubling him for several weeks.
  14. Good to see Shane back in training today.
  15. Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC We're pleased to announce that youngster Tyreke Johnson has signed his first professional contract with #SaintsFC.

  18. To be fair, they were missing 6-7 of their best players.
  19. Felt his hamstring. So wasn't risked in the 2nd half.
  20. Steve Cook missing from centre back as well. Isn't that their 1st choice pairing out? (along with Elphick)
