  1. You're forgetting the "+£15M because he's English" tax that goes onto the Stones fee Agree. Was thinking last night that the Stoke game was in some ways a version of our Upton Park away game from this season, but this time done right. Took our chances in the 1st half and successfully held on for the win in the 2nd half.
  2. France Football reporting Rennes have turned down a €35m offer from Barcelona for Ousmane Dembele.
  3. I would love us to sign Sigurdsson. Wanted us to get him when he left Spurs - But the problem is, he'd surely cost an absolute fortune. But if you want goals from "No.10" position, he's fantastic.
  4. WBA at home, Dutchie
  5. I'm just currently happy we have both.
  6. More than likely. There's s fair few clubs who will be looking for centre-backs. Utd / City / Chelsea / Arsenal / Liverpool
  7. Has anyone bid for him?
  8. Wow, an excellent win that I didn't think we'd get as Stoke have been excellent lately and we've been poor. Very pleased for Pelle - Sounded like he got a couple of nicely taken goals which will do him the world of good. Had a feeling we'd pay for the Tadic miss in the 1st half and feared the worst when they scored early in the 2nd half, but fair play to the lads for grinding it out. By the sounds of it, we should have finished them off in the 2nd half. Onwards to Liverpool, which is going to be a monumentally difficult game.
  9. Genuine "LOL"
  10. Hal Robson-Kanu (?) http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/03/10/southampton-interested-in-signing-readings-hal-robson-kanu-on-fr/
  11. Cheers. A good deal for the commercial side of the club, if true.
  12. What's his contract situation? I imagine he'd cost an absolute fortune.
  13. @bigadamsport: #saintsfc striker Jay Rodriguez will play for U21's at Middlesboro next week - Koeman says 'he's close'
  14. Yeah, I don't see us in for either as too expensive - Wouldn't surprise me to see West Ham have a punt on one of them though. Don't see us looking for an expensive striker this summer. Replacement for Mane & a "No.10" possibly?
  15. Agree, I'd love to see him back but recent reports linking City, Liverpool & Utd with him. Wenger doesn't tend to let players go too easily, so will be interesting to see what happens. Surely what he needs to do is to go to a team a little further down the pecking order who play nice football, who would play him where he wants to play? Rather than go and sit on a bench somewhere else.
  16. Any idea what Adidas pay us at the moment? I guess it's tricky to work out as we had a break for a season.
  17. Yes please. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-join-transfer-chase-midtjylland-7519237
  18. I had a think about 3 players earlier, and to be honest, that was one of the 1st one's I thought of actually. Was that game on TV? I remember it being soul-destroying.
  19. He's been playing like a typical Liverpool keeper for the last 3 games, so not surprised they are interested.
  20. Wouldn't disagree with much of that. Of course, I'm sure we'd love to *only* sign 3-4 players, but the reality is we will probably lose 3 or 4 so have to replace them as well.
  21. Bony feels like he'd be a West Ham signing to me.
  22. Guaranteed, I'm afraid.
  23. SANABRIA EYED BY PL CLUBS Striker Antonio Sanabria is being tracked by both Southampton and Tottenham, according to Corriere dello Sport. The Paraguayan is currently on loan at Sporting Gijon from Serie A club Roma. However, the report suggests the 20-year-old could be set for a summer move to England.
