CITY INTERESTED? http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/man-utd/transfer-talk/news/report-man-city-join-sadio-mane-hunt_265931.html

Watched highlights of their game vs Palace. Everything goes through Sigurdsson - he has fantastic dead-ball delivery. They played Cork & Britton in their engine room which we should be able to match like for like with Romeu & Clasie. They've picked up under the new guy, but it's a good chance to keep our run going.
-
Yeah, hopefully Davis will be back for the weekend & it will be a straight pick between JWP or Clasie to partner Romeu. Harrison Reed to get promoted to the bench maybe? Swansea aren't overly physical in central midfield really, but feel we will need somebody to shadow Gylfi Sigurdsson.
-
Well I think he's going to get a run of 5 games at least - so we shall see.

Could we get overrun in midfield? Assume Mane is in the No.10 position? -
I think they might actually do it.
-
Cheers. Looking good so far.

Nice to have the choice. West Ham will be quite physical in the middle with Song & Kouyate in their midfield. -
So does this indicate we'll be after a couple of 'Home grown' players at least if Isgrove & Kelvin leave in the summer? Or will we just 'promote' Targett & JWP?
-
Not sure. Know for a fact Isted has as that was on the O.S.

How Southampton’s innovative plan to break into US market will work,,,

From the article: That's quite an idealistic view which somewhat goes against that piece in the Telegraph recently? -
......and so what about summer signings?

Bayern were always rumoured suitors for him. It will be interesting if there was any truth in that if Pep was to bid for him @ Man City. I always imagined Chelsea would fancy him too as he's always given them a torrid time. -

This is going to be an incredibly tough game. Looked at their form and they've only lost 1 from their last 10 league games. Their injury list is slowly reducing and what begrudgingly impressed me was their ability to grind results results out even without key players. Their right-hand side might be a weakness with Jenkinson and now Byram out, so maybe we will target that. Will need to keep a close eye on Payet, I think he's been outstanding. Dream scenario : Austin scores the winner, but think it might be a draw. -
To back-up what you say, I bet Leicester are near the bottom of the average possession stats...

Love a good bit of transfer chat. It's funny people have mentioned Depay & Ox. I was thinking about them the other day as being awesome (even if unlikely) signings. I'd like to think we'd have a good wedge to spend if we lose Vic + Sadio. It's tricky what positions to pick as we've been playing the 2 systems. So I'd go: Replacements for whoever we lose, an AMC, and a left-sided centre-back for starters. -
What a result tonight - Well done lads. Crikey, the West Ham game is big isn't it? PLEASE LET AUSTIN SCORE THE WINNER!
-
I notice we've crept above them now
-
Hence the "irrational" part of my jealousy of the signing.
-
I'm irrationally jealous. Think he'll be a top player. 5.5 year deal too. Fair play to Stoke. They still want Berahino too.

Confirmed on OS.

@bigadamsport: Seems #saintsfc defender Jack Stephens could be joining Baily Cargill on loan at Coventry - a south coast CB partnership for Cov? #AFCB

With a bit of luck, Wycombe will get promoted to League 1 and he could spend next season with them there.
