I saw a few reports yesterday saying that Levy would be happy about the Palace deal as Spurs have still been paying him 100k a week.
Guessing he's technically under contract with them, but they told him not to come into training and that he'd be available on a free.
Strange.
Yeah, he looks very good. Truth be told, we have the best coaching team when it comes to rating a player from that league, so if we think he can do a job I'm sure we will be interested.
Indeed. Wanyama/Mane expected... Pelle not so much, but is somewhat understandable...
When Long & Bertrand start getting mentioned, alarm bells start to ring.
100%. I reckon those 2 scenarios are nailed on.
It's possible Pelle will join them from reports. (Which is whilst sad, is understandable given Austin signing and Graziano's contract scenario).
No more than that though, please otherwise we are getting into silly numbers of sales.
More Prem strikers on the move?
SWANSEA EYE GAYLE
Swansea are leading the fight to land striker Dwight Gayle from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, according to Sky sources. The deal is expected to prompt the departure of former Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis from the Liberty Stadium.
Palace broke their club record when they brought Gayle to Selhurst Park from Peterborough for £6m in July 2013.
But Palace are unlikely to allow the 26-year-old leave on the cheap if he decides to move on in the January transfer window.
Interesting. I always figured Gaston leaving free'd up Austin money, but it's possible.
If it's not, then certainly the new TV money can go towards it in the summer. I'd still be very surprised if he signed a new deal though.
I'll still be interested to see how he does there. I've never been quite sure if he'd come good at another club or not.
His left foot is a bit like a loose-cannon. Powerful, but you're never quite sure where it's going to fire.
